Vor einigen Monaten hatte ich dort meinen zweiten Besuch gemeinsam mit meiner Begleitung und wir waren sehr zufrieden. Da es damals noch sommerlich war entschieden wir uns f\u00fcr einen sch\u00f6nen Tisch in dem riesigen Au\u00dfenbereich des Mangostins. Dieser ist unterteilt in die Terrasse des Restaurant selbst und einen riesigen Sitzbereich -gleichend einem schicken Biergarten mit Rathan-M\u00f6beln, schicken Lichtern, einer tollen Bar, riesigen B\u00e4umen, etc.. Wir nahmen auf der Terrasse im Eck, direkt angrenzend an das Restaurant Platz.<\/p>\n<p>Die Atmosph\u00e4re im Mangostin ist sehr angenehm durch ein freundliches, warmes Ambiente. Viel rot, viel Marmor, asiatischen Gem\u00e4lden, Blumen, dunkle \u00a0M\u00f6bel und eine geschickte Unterteilung des Speisebereichs in unterschiedliche R\u00e4umlichkeiten mit verschiedenen Bezeichnungen wie z.B. Lemon Grass, Papa Joe\u00b4s Bar, Papa Joe\u00b4s Restaurant, Pacific Rooms und Mangostin Gardens. Jede einzelen R\u00e4umlichkeit, bzw. jeder einzelne Bereich im Mangostin ist ausgesprochen schick und edel gestaltet und l\u00e4sst einen wohlf\u00fchlen und enstpannt sein Essen genie\u00dfen.<\/p>\n<div style=\"margin: 0 1em 1em 0; float: left; display: block; width: 340px; height: 300px;\"><script>\/\/ <![CDATA[ google_ad_client = \"ca-pub-1770258545384845\"; \/* 336 x 280 Best Performer *\/ google_ad_slot = \"6442916218\"; google_ad_width = 336; google_ad_height = 280; \/\/ ]]><\/script><br \/>\n<script src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/show_ads.js\">\/\/ <![CDATA[ \/\/ ]]><\/script><\/div>\n<p>Insgesamt bietet das Mangostin unterschiedliche Speisekarten: Die regul\u00e4re Speisekarte \u2013 aus der wir w\u00e4hlten, eine Nachmittagskarte, eine Sushi-Karte, eine Biergarten-Karte, eine Wein-\/Barkarte und eine Mitnahmekarte. Unsere Bedienung, die zwar sehr freundlich war, aber dabei ausgesprochen gek\u00fcnstelt und unecht ankam (diese l\u00e4chelte uns durchgehend mit einem absolut \u00fcbertriebenen &amp; breiten Riesengrinsen an, drehte sich anschlie\u00dfend um und wir erkannten noch beim Umdrehen die umgehend komplett erschlaffenden Mundwinkel einer genervten, angespannten Kellnerin), erz\u00e4hlte uns au\u00dferdem dass es Sonntags von 11 \u2013 15 Uhr immer einen Brunch im Mangostin f\u00fcr 65 Euro (ja 65 Euro!) gibt \u2013 f\u00fcr Kinder bis 12 Jahre 27 Euro pro Nase \u2013 auf den es immer einen Riesen Ansturm gibt. Spontan vorbei kommen empfehle ich hierf\u00fcr nicht. Au\u00dferdem gibt es zus\u00e4tzlich unter der Woche einen Businessbrunch \u2013 auch von 11 \u2013 15 Uhr \u2013 f\u00fcr 25,50 pro Person mit einer Suppen-Station, diversen Vorspeisen, Curry, Wokgerichte, Fr\u00fcchte und raffinierten Desserts. Wobei hier ganz klar jeder selbst entscheiden muss, ob er f\u00fcr seinen Mittagstisch diese Summe bereit ist zu bezahlen.<\/p>\n<p>Zur\u00fcck zu unserem Besuch: Wir entschieden uns nach der Platzzuweisung direkt nach dem Eintreten und \u00dcberreichen der Speisekarten f\u00fcr zwei Vorspeisen und Hauptgerichte, so wie ein Dessert f\u00fcr mich zum Abschluss. Wir w\u00e4hlten Geang Keow \u2013 Gr\u00fcnes Gem\u00fcsecurry f\u00fcr 13,50 Euro, Sen Lek Pat Thai \u2013 Reisnudeln mit Garnelen, Tofu, Sojasprossen, Erdn\u00fcssen und S\u00fc\u00df-Sauer-So\u00dfe f\u00fcr 17,50 Euro, Panko Garnele \u2013 gebackene Garnerlen in knuspriger Panko-Panade f\u00fcr 14 Euro, Poh Piard Thord \u2013 knusprig gebackene Fr\u00fchlingsrollen mit Mango-Chili-Dip f\u00fcr 9,50 Euro und zum Abschluss erlesene Thaifr\u00fcchte \u2013 Papaja, Mango, Passionsfrucht und Bl\u00e4tterteig Flute f\u00fcr 10 Euro. Ob die Preise gerechtfertigt sind l\u00e4sst sich schwer einsch\u00e4tzen, doch w\u00fcrde ich hier sagen: Ja, auf jeden Fall. die Portionen waren ausreichend, der Geschmack war bei jedem einzelnen Gericht ausgezeichnet und hatte \u201cdas gewisse Extra\u201d, welches es nicht bei jeder Chinabude am n\u00e4chsten Eck gibt. Die Garnelenspiese waren zart, die Panade sehr knusprig und stimmig zu den Garnelen. Die Fr\u00fchlingsrollen einfach, aber in Verbindung mit dem gereichten Dip sehr k\u00f6stlich. Das Ambiente stimmte, das Personal war freundlich und nach dem Aufstehen waren wir uns einige, dass dieser Abend sicherlich f\u00fcr uns 90 Euro wert war (sicherlich auch Ansichtssache!). Zu erst brachte der Kellner meiner Begleitung zwar ein falsches Hauptgericht, weil er die Bestellung akustisch falsch verstanden hatte, tauschte diese aber ohne sich Etwas anmerken zu lassen tonlos aus \u2013 kann passieren.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Alles in Allem ein wirklich toller Asiate, der einen Besuch wert ist. Eine Reservierung w\u00fcrde ich \u2013 auch unter der Woche am Abend \u2013 auf jeden Fall empfehlen, da es sehr bekannt und beliebt ist. Kartenzahlung ist im Mangostin nat\u00fcrlich m\u00f6glich.
