Solltet ihr das Eck bis dato gemieden haben, weil es euch eben nicht wirklich nach Giesing zieht\u00a0oder ihr davon \u00fcberzeugt wart, dass die Gastronomie hier nichts zu bieten hat: Fehlanzeige. Schaut vorbei im Edelwei\u00df und schon seid ihr begeisterte Giesing-Fans. \ud83d\ude42 Ich tat dies neulich mit meiner Begleitung f\u00fcr ein Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck, denn mir wurde das Edelwei\u00df von einem meiner Leser empfohlen und schon war ich auch vor Ort. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>Das Edelwei\u00df wirkt schon von au\u00dfen recht freundlich und einladend. Entlang der gelben Hausfassade mit wei\u00dfem \u201edas edelwei\u00df\u201c-Schild sind zahlreiche einfache Holztische mit St\u00fchlen unter Sonnenschirmen aufgestellt. Schon vor dem Eintreten wird man \u00fcber eine aufgestellte Tafel dar\u00fcber informiert, dass es am Wochenende Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck bis 16:00 Uhr &#8211; also auch f\u00fcr die Langschl\u00e4fer und Sp\u00e4taufsteher unter euch &#8211; gibt und wann beispielsweise der n\u00e4chste musikalische Stammtisch stattfindet.<\/p>\n<div style=\"margin: 0 1em 1em 0; float: left; display: block; width: 340px; height: 300px;\">\n<p><script type=\"text\/javascript\">\/\/ <![CDATA[ google_ad_client = \"ca-pub-1770258545384845\"; \/* 336 x 280 Best Performer *\/ google_ad_slot = \"6442916218\"; google_ad_width = 336; google_ad_height = 280; \/\/ ]]><\/script><\/p>\n<p><script src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/show_ads.js\" type=\"text\/javascript\">\/\/ <![CDATA[ \/\/ ]]><\/script><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Zum Eintreten muss man eine kleine Stufe hinauf, vorbei an einem wei\u00df angestrichenem\u00a0k\u00fcnstlichen Baum, welcher den zerst\u00f6rten Teil der Fassade kunstvoll schm\u00fcckt. In den Artikelfotos seht ihr mitunter eine Au\u00dfenansicht des Restaurants und k\u00f6nnt die raffinierte L\u00f6sung betrachten. Als wir dann in dem Restaurant standen waren wir angenehm \u00fcberrascht. Das Restaurant ist schmal und l\u00e4nglich geschnitten. Eine dunkle Bar dominiert den hellen, freundlichen Speiseraum mit ca. 15-18 unterschiedlich gro\u00dfen Tischen. Seitlich steht ein Klavier an der Wand, an dieser h\u00e4ngt ein gro\u00dfes buntes Bild. Ein gro\u00dfer Spiegel, echte Blumen auf den Tischen, gem\u00fctliche B\u00e4nke und meterhohe Decken mit echtem Stuck, sowie Parkettb\u00f6den sorgen f\u00fcr ein gem\u00fctliches Ambiente in dem Lokal.<\/p>\n<p>Wir hatten vorab telefonisch reserviert, was bei unserem Besuch an einem Sonntag gegen 13:00 Uhr nicht n\u00f6tig gewesen w\u00e4re. Die freundliche Bedienung kam direkt auf uns zu und wir durften dann einen der freien Tische w\u00e4hlen. Wir entschieden uns f\u00fcr einen kleinen Zweiertisch, f\u00fcr mich mit Blick auf die Bar. In meinen Augen ein sehr gem\u00fctliches Restaurant, in dem man auch gerne l\u00e4nger sitzt, als man isst. Die Kellnerin brachte uns direkt nach dem Platz nehmen die umfangreiche Speisekarte zum Ausw\u00e4hlen. Meine Begleitung \u00fcberlegte kurz, ob nicht doch lieber eines der zahlreichen genannten Hauptgerichten eine bessere Wahl w\u00e4re, entschied sich dann aber ebenfalls f\u00fcr ein Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck aus dem Edelwei\u00df.<\/p>\n<p>Neben frisch gepressten S\u00e4ften wie z.B. Apfel-Karottel-Ingwer-Saft oder auch Kiwi-Bananen-Orangen-Smoothe (jeweils f\u00fcr 3,50\u20ac) gibt es zahlreiche unterschiedliche Fr\u00fchst\u00fccke. Ich entschied mich nach einigem hin und her f\u00fcr \u201eHeidis Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck\u201c mit einem Omelette mit K\u00e4se, Tomaten und Pilzen und einem Sch\u00e4lchen griechischer Joghurt mit Honig und Waln\u00fcssen (f\u00fcr 8,50\u20ac). Dazu gab es einen Brotkorb, ein Sch\u00e4lchen Butter und Kirschmarmelade. Da ich mal wieder unter absolutem Gr\u00f6\u00dfenwahn litt, bestellte ich mir dazu noch ein frisches Bircherm\u00fcsli mit frischen Fr\u00fcchten (f\u00fcr 4,50\u20ac). Als mein Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck kam, sah ich sofort, dass es viel zu viel war. Das Bircherm\u00fcsli war gro\u00dfe Klasse, aber schon allein ohne das zus\u00e4tzliche Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck extrem m\u00e4chtig. Untypisch f\u00fcr ein Bircherm\u00fcsli, aber f\u00fcr mich vollkommen in Ordnung, war, dass das M\u00fcsli extrem fest und schwer war. Nicht locker und luftig bzw. cremig, wie einige Bircherm\u00fcslis (z.B. im Backspielhaus) sind. Mir schmeckte es aber ausgezeichnet. Mein Omelette war in Ordnung. Kein Wahnsinns-Geschmackserlebnis, aber definitiv k\u00f6stlich. Ich kam auf die sensationelle Idee, den griechischen Joghurt mit den N\u00fcssen und dem Honig mit den frischen Fr\u00fcchten des Bircherm\u00fcslis zu mischen &#8211; ein Traum sag ich euch. Insgesamt w\u00fcrde ich mir beides sofort wieder so bestellen, nur vielleicht nicht gleichzeitig. \ud83d\ude09 Am Schluss schaffte ich es zwar fast ganz aufzuessen, weil ich sehr ungern Essen wegschmeisse, dennoch war ich danach bis in die Fu\u00dfspitzen mit Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck gef\u00fcllt. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>Meine Begleitung entschied sich f\u00fcr eine K\u00fcrbissuppe (f\u00fcr 2,50 \u20ac) und das &#8222;Kombi-Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck.\u201c. Die Kellnerin fragte sogar extra, ob die Suppe die Vorspeise und das Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck der Hauptgang sein soll, was meine Begleitung bejahte und dann die Suppe serviert bekam, als ich mein Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck schon a\u00df. Nach dem Abservieren der leeren Suppensch\u00fcssel der sehr cremigen und geschmacksintensiven K\u00fcrbissuppe, fragte sie dann nach, ob der zweite Gang \ud83d\ude09 (das Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck) serviert werden soll. In meinen Augen eine sehr freundliche Kellnerin, die sehr bem\u00fcht war unsere W\u00fcnsche zu erf\u00fcllen &#8211; da war es auch nicht so schlimm, dass wir ein wenig l\u00e4nger auf das Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck und die Suppe warten mussten, obwohl nicht so viel los war im Edelwei\u00df. Beim Servieren der Suppe verga\u00df die Dame zwar den L\u00f6ffel zu servieren und wir mussten uns selbst einen besorgen, aber da wir im Sonntags-Entspannungsmodus waren, war das f\u00fcr uns kein Anlass zur Beschwerde. Kann passieren.<\/p>\n<p>Das Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck meiner Begleitung (Kombi-Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck f\u00fcr 8,50\u20ac) war schon etwas leichter bezwingbar. Es gab frisches R\u00fchrei mit Schinken (wahlweise mit Speck) und ebenfalls ein Sch\u00e4lchen mit Bircherm\u00fcsli, Marmelade und Brot. Da ich schon komplett voll gefuttert war, konnte ich das Brot, die Marmelade und Butter nicht mehr probieren, meine Begleitung griff jedoch zu und war von dem weichen Brot und der leckeren roten Konfit\u00fcre angetan. Auch das R\u00fchrei mit Schinken war lecker, ausreichend, nicht zu glibberig und wurde warm serviert.<\/p>\n<p>Insgesamt kann ich euch einem Besuch im Edelwei\u00df auf jeden Fall empfehlen. Ich werde sicherlich nochmals kommen um mich von den Hauptgerichten zu \u00fcberzeugen. Auch hier gibt es zahlreiche unterschiedliche Gerichte zum Ausw\u00e4hlen. Die gesamte Karte \u00fcberzeugt au\u00dferdem mit fairen Preisen und interessanten Essenskombinationen, welche nicht nur dem langweiligen Standard entsprechen. Einige Specials werden in der ins Klemmbrett eingeklemmten Speisekarte in Form von einzelnen DIN A4 Bl\u00e4ttern auch genannt. So erwartet euch beispielsweise Montags ein Edelwei\u00df Burger f\u00fcr 7,90\u20ac, Mittwochs gibt\u00b4s Abends f\u00fcr die Ladies Hugo- und Aperol Sprizz sowie Cosmopolitan, Sonntag wird hier gemeinsam mit einem \u201eEdelwei\u00df K\u00e4seteller\u201c und Wein f\u00fcr 8\u20ac Tatort geguckt und auch ansonsten ist immer was los im Edelwei\u00df. Ach ja&#8230;Unterschiedliche Crepes (2 St\u00fcck &#8211; je nach Sorte ab 4\u20ac) gibt es im \u00dcbrigen auch im Edelwei\u00df.<\/p>\n<p>Wir bezahlten f\u00fcr zwei Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck, eine Suppe, ein zus\u00e4tzliches M\u00fcsli und zwei Getr\u00e4nke (Cappuccino und Chai Tea Latte) 32\u20ac mit Trinkgeld. Durchaus in Ordnung. Ge\u00f6ffnet ist von Montag bis Freitag von 16:oo Uhr bis Mitternacht und am Wochenende, sowie an den Feiertagen ab 10:00 Uhr bis Mitternacht mit warmer K\u00fcche bis 23:00 Uhr. F\u00fcr die \u201eBusy People\u201c unter euch gibt es das gesamte Sortiment an Speisen auch zum Mitnehmen inkl. 10% Rabatt oben drauf. Bezahlt werden kann bar und mit Ec-, jedoch nicht mit Kreditkarte. Also wie gesagt: Selbst wenn Giesing bisher nicht euer Pflaster war. In meinen Augen lohnt sich eine Anfahrt extra f\u00fcr das gem\u00fctliche Edelwei\u00df auf jeden Fall. Hier sitzt es sich gem\u00fctlich mit Freunden in lockerem Ambiente, genauso passt aber die Familie mit Kindern, das verliebte P\u00e4rchen zum Date oder der Kollege hier vom Ambiente ganz gut rein. Auf auf ins Edelwei\u00df.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ich komme wieder:<\/strong>\u00a0Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.
