Vorab: Das Surbahar hei\u00dft seit kurzem nicht mehr Surbahar und l\u00e4uft nun unter dem Namen Delhi Palace. Als es noch das Surbahar war sind meine Begleitung und ich sehr gerne dort essen gegangen und haben die gute authentische indische K\u00fcche genossen. Den Delhi Palace haben wir noch nicht getestet. Da es das Surbahar sozusagen nicht mehr gibt, einzig die Lokalit\u00e4t, gehe ich in diesem Beitrag nicht allzu detailliert auf die Einzelheiten ein.<\/p>\n<div style=\"margin: 0 1em 1em 0; float: left; display: block; width: 340px; height: 300px;\"><script type=\"text\/javascript\">\/\/ <![CDATA[ google_ad_client = \"ca-pub-1770258545384845\"; \/* 336 x 280 Best Performer *\/ google_ad_slot = \"6442916218\"; google_ad_width = 336; google_ad_height = 280; \/\/ ]]><\/script><script src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/show_ads.js\" type=\"text\/javascript\">\/\/ <![CDATA[ \/\/ ]]><\/script><\/div>\n<p>Das Surbahar liegt an einem langen geraden Stra\u00dfe und ist evtl. wegen der nicht allzu idealen Lage bei jedem unserer Besuche komplett leer gewesen. In der Regel besuchten wir das Lokal an einem Feierabend nach der Arbeit unter der Woche, aber auch ein- bis zweimal am Wochenende Mittags oder Sonntagabend. Bei nur einem einzigen Besuch waren zwei andere Tische der ca. 15 Tische besetzt.<\/p>\n<p>Die Bedienung im Surbahar ist sehr freundlich und begr\u00fc\u00dft einen sofort freundlich nach dem Eintreten, aber etwas langsam. Einmal waren wir zu viert im Surbahar und haben uns zwei Vorspeisen und vier Hauptgerichte bestellt. Neben uns sa\u00dfen ebenfalls vier Personen an einem Tisch, ansonsten war das Lokal leer. Wir warteten ca. 35 Minuten auf unsere Gerichte, was eindeutig zu lang war. Wie lange m\u00fcsste man wohl warten, wenn alle Tische besetzt sind? Als wir unsere Gerichte dann vor uns hatten waren wir aber alle samt zufrieden. Sehr frisches, k\u00f6stliches Essen in ausreichenden Portionen.<\/p>\n<p>Wir w\u00e4hlten &#8211; wie bei unseren meisten Besuchen im Surbahar &#8211; vegetarisches Thali mit Safranreis und Nanbrot, sowie Palak Paneer und Mutter Paneer. Alles sehr k\u00f6stlich und auf Wunsch hin wurde auch die Sch\u00e4rfe weggelassen, bzw. das Thali kann auch individuell zusammengestellt werden. Ein Bekannter bestellte sich das Chicken Tikka Masala &#8211; ein Currygericht aus gegrillten und marinierten H\u00e4hnchenfleischst\u00fccken in einer w\u00fcrzigen Tomatenso\u00dfe &#8211; auch sehr k\u00f6stlich und grunds\u00e4tzlich ein sehr beliebtes Gericht in Indien und beim Inder.<\/p>\n<p>Wie ich bereits in meinen anderen Beitr\u00e4gen \u00fcber indische Restaurant erw\u00e4hnt habe (z.B. <a title=\"Samrat \u2013 Inder \u2013\u00a0Innenstadt\" href=\"http:\/\/essengehenistaucheinhobby.wordpress.com\/2013\/10\/24\/samrat-inder-innenstadt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Samrat<\/a>, <a title=\"Sangeet\" href=\"http:\/\/essengehenistaucheinhobby.wordpress.com\/2013\/11\/22\/sangeet-indisches-restaurant-altstadtinnenstadt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sangeet<\/a>, <a title=\"Ganesha \u2013 Inder \u2013\u00a0Haidhausen\" href=\"http:\/\/essengehenistaucheinhobby.wordpress.com\/2013\/10\/24\/ganesha-inder-haidhausen\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ganesha<\/a>), ist Palak Paneer ein Gericht mit indischem K\u00e4se und Spinat &#8211; eines meiner Lieblingsspeisen. Im Surbahar schmeckt das Palak Paneer ausgezeichnet, sehr frisch und gen\u00fcgend Paneer (indischer K\u00e4se) im Gericht &#8211; nicht zu klein zerrieben, da ich es gerne mag, wenn man noch ein wenig gr\u00f6\u00dfere St\u00fcckchen zum Beissen hat. Das Nanbrot ist sehr k\u00f6stlich und wird ofenfrisch und warm serviert. Der Safranreis ist ausreichend und wird auf Wunsch hin nachgeliefert.<\/p>\n<p>Das Ambiente des Surbahar ist typisch indisch: gelbe W\u00e4nde, Holzm\u00f6bel, wei\u00dfe Tischt\u00fccher mit Kerzen auf den Tischen, indische Figuren und Pflanzen auf den Fensterbrettern, Bilder an den W\u00e4nden und indische &#8211; schreckliche Musik &#8211; im Hintergrund.<\/p>\n<p>Insgesamt ist das Surbahar schon sehr gem\u00fctlich, ist aber wie oben erw\u00e4hnt in dieser Form nicht mehr vorhanden. Kartenzahlung war im Surbahar m\u00f6glich.<\/p>\n<p>Im Delhi Palace war ich noch nicht zum Essen &#8211; ich werde es aber ausprobieren und Euch berichten.<\/p>\n<p><script async
