Ich besuchte dieses Restaurant k\u00fcrzlich gemeinsam mit meiner Begleitung, weil es mir von einem Kollegen empfohlen wurde &#8211; an dieser Stelle vielen Dank f\u00fcr diesen tollen Typ. Von au\u00dfen l\u00e4sst das Jaipur nicht direkt vermuten, dass es sich hierbei um ein hochwertiges Restaurant handelt. Der Schriftzug des Jaipur leuchtet auf einem gelb-rot beleuchteten Schild \u00fcber der prunkvollen, goldenen T\u00fcr, welche links und rechts seitlich am Boden mit Rosenbl\u00e4ttern um den Teppich vorm Eingang herum geschm\u00fcckt ist.<\/p>\n<p>Wir betraten das Restaurant direkt um 17:30 Uhr und waren die ersten G\u00e4ste, da das Jaipur auch erst um diese Uhrzeit \u00f6ffnet. Uns empfing ein sehr freundlicher Kellner, welcher uns sofort unsere Jacken abnehmen wollte, uns zum (vorab nicht reservierten) Tisch f\u00fchrte und uns nach dem Platznehmen alle m\u00f6glichen Gerichte aus dem Kopf aufsagte. Besonders hob er die vorz\u00fcgliche &#8222;indische Platte&#8220; mit verschiedenem, w\u00e4hlbaren Gerichten von H\u00fchnchen, Lamm, Fisch, frischen Garnelen, etc. hervor. Wir wussten aber schon relativ gut vor dem Eintreten, was wir essen wollen so kam dieses Angebot f\u00fcr uns nicht in Frage.<\/p>\n<div style=\"margin: 0 1em 1em 0; float: left; display: block; width: 340px; height: 300px;\">\n<p><script type=\"text\/javascript\">\/\/ <![CDATA[ google_ad_client = \"ca-pub-1770258545384845\"; \/* 336 x 280 Best Performer *\/ google_ad_slot = \"6442916218\"; google_ad_width = 336; google_ad_height = 280; \/\/ ]]><\/script><\/p>\n<p><script src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/show_ads.js\" type=\"text\/javascript\">\/\/ <![CDATA[ \/\/ ]]><\/script><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Wir erhielten von einem anderen, ausgesprochen angenehmen und freundlichen Kellner die aufw\u00e4ndig gestalteten Speisekarten (siehe Foto) und bemerkten gleich bei dem ersten Blick in die Karte &#8211; und somit auch auf die Preise &#8211; dass wir uns in Gr\u00fcnwald befinden. \ud83d\ude42 Beispielsweise kostet Palak Paneer (ihr wisst &#8211; eines meiner Lieblingsgerichte) satte 13,90 \u20ac. Preislich wirklich sehr hoch gegriffen, wenn man \u00fcberlegt, dass beispielsweise im von mir bereits mehrfach besuchten <a title=\"SAMRAT \u2013 Isarvorstadt \u2013 indisch\" href=\"http:\/\/essengehenistaucheinhobby.de\/2013\/10\/24\/samrat-inder-innenstadt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Samrat<\/a>, <a title=\"GANESHA \u2013 Haidhausen \u2013 indisch\" href=\"http:\/\/essengehenistaucheinhobby.de\/2013\/10\/24\/ganesha-inder-haidhausen\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ganesha<\/a> oder Swagat (auch in Bogenhausen am\u00a0 Prinzregentenplatz) maximal mit 10 \u20ac in ausreichender Portion zu bekommen ist. Wir entschieden uns f\u00fcr ein vegetarisches Thali f\u00fcr zwei Personen f\u00fcr 34 \u20ac, f\u00fcr Samosa f\u00fcr 6,90 \u20ac (Vorspeise: 2 in der Mittel halbierte, mit frischem Gem\u00fcse gef\u00fcllte Teigtaschen), eine Mango-Saftschorle und eine Cola-Light. Vor der Bestellung wurde uns eine Aperitif (Prosecco mit Mango) angeboten, welchen wir aber nicht w\u00e4hlten.<\/p>\n<p>Das vegetarische Thali war ausgezeichnet. Besonders positiv ist anzumerken, dass es &#8211; un\u00fcblich f\u00fcr indische Lokale &#8211; komplett individuell zusammenstellbar war. Wir konnten uns von der kompletten vegetarischen Speisekarte (siehe Foto) sechs verschiedene Gerichte ausw\u00e4hlen und uns das Thali so zusammenstellen, wie es uns schmeckte. (Ich empfehle Euch auf jeden Fall Palak Paneer, Malai Kofta und Dal Makhni zu w\u00e4hlen). Wir w\u00e4hlten au\u00dferdem noch Bhindi Masala, Chana Masala und Shahi Paneer. Unserem Wunsch alle Speisen nicht scharf zuzubereiten wurde Geh\u00f6r verschafft und das Thali schmeckte wirklich ausgezeichnet. Das Palak Paneer war etwas spinatlastig &#8211; ich mag es aber so und das hat sicher auch etwas mit der &#8222;fehlende W\u00fcrze&#8220; zu tun, weil ich es nicht scharf bestellte. Zu den sechs gew\u00e4hlten Gerichten gibt es au\u00dferdem Standardm\u00e4\u00dfig noch ein T\u00f6pfchen mit Joghurt (Raita) und eines mit einem kleinen frischen Salat dazu. (Der Joghurt ist in Verbindung mit dem Palak Paneer und einem St\u00fcck Naanbrot sehr k\u00f6stlich!). Das Naanbrot selbst war sehr gut, noch ofenfrisch und warm und konnte wahlweise auch mit Knoblauch bestellt werden. (Ich empfehle euch das typische Naan, da ansonsten der Geschmack der einzelnen Thali-Gerichte verf\u00e4lscht wird). Die dazu bestellte Mangosaftschorle war sehr fruchtintensiv und k\u00f6stlich. Die Portion Basmati-Safran-Reis ebenfalls ausreichend. Insgesamt machte die Portion mehr als satt und wir liesen sogar ein wenig davon \u00fcber. F\u00fcr 34 \u20ac sicherlich auch kein Schn\u00e4ppchen, jedoch sein Geld geschmacklich definitiv wert.<\/p>\n<p>Mitbezahlt wird im Jaipur sicherlich auch das edle Ambiente und die perfekte Mischung aus Chic und Charme im Speisebereich: Dunkle Holzbalken an den wei\u00dfen Decken, dezent abgetrennte Speisebereiche, sehr zur\u00fcckhaltende und \u00fcber die Ma\u00dfen freundliche Bedienung, (derzeit) nicht zu \u00fcbertriebene Weihnachtsdekoration an den Fenstern und kleine Weihnachtssterne auf den wei\u00dfen Tischt\u00fcchern, Kerzenlicht, ein riesiges gezeichnets Bild des Taj Mahal, dunkle M\u00f6bel, viele kleine orientalische Kissen auf den gepolsterten Sitzb\u00e4nken, indische Bilder an den W\u00e4nden, leise (leider wie in fast allen indischen Restaurants schreckliche) indische Musik, kleine dunkle Bar und \u00fcberall unauff\u00e4llig und dennoch aussagekr\u00e4ftige Dekorationselemente, wie beispielsweise eine goldene Schale mit zahlreichen abgeschnittenen Rosenk\u00f6pfen im Eingangsbereich, eine kleines Pult mit allen g\u00e4ngigen indischen Gew\u00fcrzen und wie erw\u00e4hnt sehr auffw\u00e4ndig gestaltete Speisekarten &#8211; im Lokal sogar mit Preisen, im Internet sind diese n\u00e4mlich nicht aufgelistet.<\/p>\n<p>Insgesamt war es ein sehr gelungener Abend. Wir bezahlten f\u00fcr das Thali mit Reis (inkl.), sowie zwei Getr\u00e4nke und eine Vorspeise inklusive Trinkgeld 58 \u20ac. Aufs Haus gibt es noch Kokosschnaps oder eine kleine Mangocreme. Meine Begleitung w\u00e4hlte den Kokosschnaps, ich die Mangocreme -beides sehr k\u00f6stlich und intensiv im Geschmack. Ins Jaipur komme ich auf jeden Fall nochmals. Um so sp\u00e4ter der Abend wurde, um so voller war das Restaurant. Als wir gingen waren alle der ca. 15 Tische besetzt. Kartenzahlung wird akzeptiert. Sehr positiv ist anzumerken, dass die Kellner sehr freundlich und professionell sind und auf die W\u00fcnsche f\u00fcr das Essen sehr pers\u00f6nlich eingegangen wird.
