Vielen Dank f\u00fcr die Produkte! + + +<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><b>Fever-Tree | Premium Tonic Water <\/b>&#8211; Wie ihr wisst, widme ich mich immer wieder und mit Freuden dem Test \u00fcberzeugender Produkte aus dem Food &amp; Drink-Bereich. K\u00fcrzlich war es wieder soweit und ich bekam die M\u00f6glichkeit das Sortiment von Fever-Tree zu testen. Fever-Tree ist die 2005 in UK gegr\u00fcndete Marke f\u00fcr Premium Mixer, welche es in Deutschland in mittlerweile sieben\u00a0unterschiedlichen Sorten gibt. Im Gr\u00fcndungsjahr wurde das erste Fever-Tree Premium Indian Tonic Water &#8211; also der Klassiker &#8211; auf den Markt gebracht. Seither hat sich die Marke Fever-Tree\u00a0mehr und mehr einen Namen als Spezialist f\u00fcr Mixer gemacht. Ich habe etwas genauer hingeschaut.<\/p>\n<p>&#8222;Tonic Water gibt es erst mal viele Sorten. Sehr viele sogar. Doch warum ins Detail damit besch\u00e4ftigen, dient das Tonic Water doch in der Regel &#8222;nur&#8220; als Filler eines Mixgetr\u00e4nks.&#8220;, so dachte ich zumindest bis dato. Einen neuen Denkansatz bekam ich beim k\u00fcrzlichen Tasting der f\u00fcnf\u00a0unterschiedlichen Premium Tonic Water Sorten von Fever Tree, inklusive der neuen\u00a0Sorte &#8222;Naturally Light&#8220;. Nun, nach der ausgiebigen Verkostung wei\u00df ich: Das Tonic Water ist wesentlich mehr als &#8222;nur Filler&#8220;. Eigentlich auch ganz logisch: Das Tonic Water tr\u00e4gt einen entscheidenden Teil &#8211; genau gesagt 3\/4 &#8211; dazu bei, wie das fertige Mixgetr\u00e4nk wie zum Beispiel der Gin Tonic schmeckt. So war es f\u00fcr mich sehr interessant verschiedene Mix-Getr\u00e4nke mit diversen Tonic Water-Sorten ausprobieren zu k\u00f6nnen. Immer mehr stellte ich fest: Ein klarer Unterschied im Geschmack und in der Qualit\u00e4t zeichnen sich durch die Tonic Water Sorte ab.<\/p>\n<div style=\"margin: 0 1em 1em 0; float: left; display: block; width: 340px; height: 300px;\"><script type=\"text\/javascript\">\/\/ <![CDATA[ google_ad_client = \"ca-pub-1770258545384845\"; \/* 336 x 280 Best Performer *\/ google_ad_slot = \"6442916218\"; google_ad_width = 336; google_ad_height = 280; \/\/ ]]><\/script><script src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/show_ads.js\" type=\"text\/javascript\">\/\/ <![CDATA[ \/\/ ]]><\/script><\/div>\n<p>Grob gesagt entstand auch in etwa\u00a0diesen Problem wegens die Marke Fever-Tree. Denn die beiden Gr\u00fcnder Charles und Tim scheiterten bei der Frage: Wie bzw. mit welchem Mixer macht man sich denn dann eigentlich den perfekten Gin Tonic? Am Gin scheiterte es nicht, denn wie ihr wisst, gibt es jede Menge guten und hochwertigen Gin. Nein das war nicht das Problem, sonder viel mehr das Tonic Water. Um den eigenen hohen Anspr\u00fcchen gerecht zu werden t\u00fcftelten und t\u00fcftelten die beiden lange herum, bereisten zahlreiche L\u00e4nder und Kontinente und brachten dann &#8211; Tadaaaa! &#8211; das erste Premium Tonic Water auf den Markt: Das Fever-Tree Indian Tonic Water. Mittlerweile gilt Fever-Tree als \u00b4innovativer Vorreiter\u00b4 in einer relativ &#8211; zumindest bis 2005 &#8211; recht\u00a0&#8222;vernachl\u00e4ssigten&#8220; Getr\u00e4nkekategorie. So werden die unterschiedlichen Fever-Tree Mixer inzwischen in mehr als 50 L\u00e4ndern verkauft, sind in vielen der 50 Top Bars weltweit vertreten (auch in M\u00fcnchen, z.B. in der Zephyr Bar) und stehen sicherlich nicht umsonst in sieben der zehn offiziell besten Restaurants der Erde (z.B. in San Sebasti\u00e1n, New York oder auch Wien) auf der Karte. Genauso gewann die Marke 2014 zum vierten Mal in Folge den \u00b4Cool Brand Status\u00b4und staubte andere Awards und Preise ab.<\/p>\n<p>Um heraus zu finden, ob die Fever-Tree Tonic Water halten was sie versprechen, traf ich mich mit einer netten Mitarbeiterin aus dem Hause &#8222;storykitchen&#8220;. Durch storykitchen, bin ich n\u00e4mlich auf das Fever-Tree Premium Tonic Water aufmerksam geworden. Storykitchen bringt regelm\u00e4\u00dfig das &#8222;storybook&#8220; heraus, welches die sch\u00f6nsten Tipps und Tricks, sowie spannenden Neuheiten aus der kulinarischen Welt bereith\u00e4lt. Das storybook\u00a0berichtet \u00fcber grandiose Manufakturen und einzigartige Produkte. In der Winter 2015 Ausgabe wurde ich f\u00fcndig und die Vorstellung von Fever-Tree machte mich neugierig. Gesagt, getan &#8211; wir trafen uns in der M\u00fcnchner Little London Bar im Tal zum Tasting.<\/p>\n<p>Was soll ich sagen: Tonic Water ist eben doch nicht gleich Tonic Water. Vom klassischen Indian Tonic Water oder Lemon Tonic, \u00fcber\u00b4s Elderflower oder Mediterranean Tonic Water, bis hin zum Ginger Ale oder Ginger Beer &#8211; ich hab sie alle probiert und nat\u00fcrlich auch das neue Naturally Light Tonic Water. Bei jeder der Sorten steht ganz klar die Nat\u00fcrlichkeit und der Anspruch nach h\u00f6chster Qualit\u00e4t im Fokus. Ganz einfach: Bester Geschmack funktioniert nur \u00fcber beste Zutaten. Und diese fanden die Gr\u00fcnder bei Kleinbauern in aller Welt. So stammen beispielsweise die Zitronen aus Sizilien, das Chinin aus dem Kongo, der Ingwer von der Elfenbeink\u00fcste, Indien und Nigeria und die Holunderbl\u00fcte aus England. Und diese Vielfalt und &#8222;die lange Suche nach der Perfektion&#8220; schmeckt man wie ich finde in jeder Sorte heraus.<\/p>\n<p>Im Fokus der Verkostung stand ganz klar, der &#8222;Neuling&#8220; der Tonic Water &#8211; Reihe: Naturally Light Tonic Water. In seiner britischen Heimat n\u00e4mlich hat sich das Naturally Light Tonic Water seit seiner Markteinf\u00fchrung bereits zur zweitst\u00e4rksten Sorte im Fever-Tree Sortiment entwickelt. Es ist das weltweit erste vollkommen nat\u00fcrliche Tonic Water mit 50% (!) weniger Kalorien. F\u00fcr das k\u00f6stlich-reine Geschmackserlebnis mit leichter Bitternote sorgt die Kombination aus hangepressten Zitrusfr\u00fcchten, hochwertigstem Chinin aus dem Kongo und einer geringen Menge Fruchtzucker. Ich pers\u00f6nlich bin kein Fan von zu bitteren Getr\u00e4nken, bzw. Mixern. Doch das Naturally Light hat mich positiv \u00fcberrascht. Das Tonic Water passt perfekt zum Gin oder Vodka, bzw. macht jeden Longdrink z.B. mit Limette, Zitrone oder auch Grapefruit zur erfrischend-leichten Mixgetr\u00e4nk.<\/p>\n<p>Wir probierten bei unserem Tasting eine Mischung aus G\u00b4Vine Gin, Eis und Naturally Light. Ausgezeichnet und definitiv einer meiner Lieblinge des Abends. Solltet ihr unbedingt ausprobieren. Ein echtes &#8222;Wow!&#8220; l\u00f6ste auch der von\u00a0der Little London Bar selbst kreierte und nun auch offiziell dort bestellbare &#8222;London Stay Light&#8220; aus. Eine Mischung aus Citadella Gin, selbstgemachter Zitronengras-Grapefruit-Limonade, selbstgemachten Granatapfelsirup, Zitronensaft, Grapefruit Bitters, Eisw\u00fcrfel und nat\u00fcrlich Naturally Light Tonic Water von Fever-Tree. Sehr fruchtig, sehr frisch und kein bisschen bitter. Einer meiner weiteren, neuen Favoriten, wenn ich in der Little London Bar was trinken will.<\/p>\n<p>Platz Nummer zwei macht f\u00fcr mich ganz klar das Mediterranean Tonic Water &#8211; sowohl als Mix mit zum Beispiel dem Gin Mare und einem Rosmarienzweig. In der Little London Bar zum Tasting wurde der Rosmarienzweig bevor er ins Getr\u00e4nk kam von dem geschulten und freundlichen Barkeeper mit einem Flammbierer angesenkt. So entfaltet sich der Duft der Rosmarien beim Ansetzen an die Lippen wunderbar und auch geschmacklich harmonieren die Komponenten einwandfrei. Also auch unbedingt ausprobieren. Besonders gut schmeckte mir das Mediterranean Tonic Water allerdings pur, also nicht als Mixer, denn auch daf\u00fcr sind die Fever-Tree Tonic Water gedacht. Auch die Sorte Elderflower Tonic schmeckt pur und\u00a0nur mit einer Scheibe Gurke bzw. frischen Beeren\u00a0verfeinert. Probiert auch das unbedingt mal aus und holt euch ein paar Flaschen zum experimentieren. Die 200ml-Flaschen von Fever-Tree gibt es schon ab 1,59\u20ac zu kaufen.<\/p>\n<p>Das klassische Fever Tree Indian Tonic Water wurde \u00fcbrigens als &#8222;Filler&#8220; des Jahres ausgezeichnet. Nicht schlecht oder? Falls ihr euch jetzt grunds\u00e4tzlich auch mehr f\u00fcr Tonic Water interessiert und das n\u00e4chste mal ein wenig genauer hinschaut, was denn da eigentlich zu 3\/4 euer Mixgetr\u00e4nk-Glas f\u00fcllt, hier noch einige Backround-Infos zum Abschluss: Fr\u00fcher geh\u00f6rt das Tonic Water f\u00fcr viele Kolonialarmeen Europas zur Standardausr\u00fcstung. Daher auch der Name &#8222;Tonic&#8220;, was f\u00fcr &#8222;kr\u00e4ftigend und st\u00e4rkend&#8220; steht. Damals war der Chiningehalt des Tonic Waters noch um einiges h\u00f6her und so war das Wasser ein gern gesehener Schutz gegen Malaria, wenn es regelm\u00e4\u00dfig getrunken wurde. Da es aber so bitter war, dass man es kaum runter brachte, wurde aus der Not eine Tugend gemacht und Gin dazu gemischt. Der Gin Tonic war geboren und der Longdrink erfunden. Und falls ihr noch nicht selbst darauf gekommen seid: Das Premium Tonic Water hat seinen Namen im \u00fcbrigen dem &#8222;Fieberbaum&#8220; (Fever Tree) bzw. Chinarindenbaum zu verdanken, aus dessen Rinde der entscheidende Bitterstoff Chinin im Tonic gewonnen wird. Die mitunter entscheidenste Zutat wurde also zu gleich auch zum Aush\u00e4ngeschild und Namen des klasse Tonic Water.<\/p>\n<p>Mein pers\u00f6nliches Fazit: Ich hoffe ich habe euch ein wenig Lust gemacht das Tonic Water auszuprobieren und damit zu experimentieren. Probiert die Rezepte von oben ruhig mal Zuhause aus oder verkostet sie in einer M\u00fcnchner Bar. Mir hat dieses Tasting ganz klar gezeigt, dass es gro\u00dfe Unterschiede in der Qualit\u00e4t und im Geschmack bzw. den verschiedenen Geschm\u00e4ckern des Tonic Water gibt. Fever-Tree hat sich einen Platz in meiner Kategorie &#8222;Produkttest&#8220; deutlich verdient. Ich bin gespannt, wie ihr das seht&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ich kaufe das Produkt wieder:<\/strong>\u00a0Ja.\u00a0Fever-Tree wird k\u00fcnftig sicher des \u00f6fteren in meinen Drinks
