Doch dass es zwei verschiedene Mangostin in M\u00fcnchen gibt (das Mangostin in der Maria-Einsiedel-Stra\u00dfe und das Mangostin Airport in der Terminalstra\u00dfe 2) wissen nur die Wenigsten. Wer gerne asiatisch isst, der sollte das Mangostin Airport mindestens einmal besucht haben. Warum dazu an den M\u00fcnchner Flughafen fahren und nicht in die Innenstadt? Einmal weil das Mangostin am Airport wider Erwarten preiswerter ist, als das Mangostin in der M\u00fcnchner Innenstadt, dazu andere Gerichte auf der Karte stehen und zus\u00e4tzlich &#8211; in meinen Augen &#8211; ein mindestens genauso gem\u00fctliches\u00a0Ambiente vorherrscht. Zu meinem Gl\u00fcck war bei meinem Besuch auch der Betriebsleiter J\u00fcrgen Halwachs vor Ort, der sich ein paar Minuten Zeit nahm um mir alles zu beantworten. So erfuhr ich beispielsweise, dass das Mangostin Airport sein k\u00f6stliches Sushi auch in To Go Boxen mit 10% To Go-Rabatt anbietet und alles frisch vor Ort angefertigt wird. Ihr bekommt also schon mal auf keinen Fall Fisch bzw. Sushi serviert, welches seit Stunden auf einen hungrigen Sushi-Fan in seiner Box wartet. Ganz besonders ist auch die Gegebenheit, dass das Mangostin Airport zum nebenan liegenden Restaurant bagutta (f\u00fcr Pizza und Pasta &#8211; ich werde berichten&#8230;.) geh\u00f6rt. Das bringt mit sich, dass ihr sowohl im Mangostin Airport sitzen k\u00f6nnt und euch Pizza vom bagutta bestellen k\u00f6nnt, als auch frische asiatische K\u00fcche im bagutta, hergestellt und gekocht im Mangostin Airport, serviert wird. Beim Trinken entschieden wir uns beide f\u00fcr eine durstl\u00f6schende und einfache Variante. F\u00fcr mich gab es eine Rhabarbersaftschorle (0,4l\/4,70\u20ac &#8211; in verschiedensten Sorten), f\u00fcr meine Begleitung einen Kombucha Carpe Diem Quitte (drei Sorten: Cranberry, Quitte, Classic | 0,25l\/4,50\u20ac). Im Mangostin Airport gibt es aber auch jede Menge Weine, Biersorten, andere Softdrinks und Mangostin Cocktails (Happy Hour t\u00e4glich von 17:00 Uhr &#8211; 19:00 Uhr mit 50% Preisnachlass). F\u00fcr die harten Sachen war es uns dann doch noch zu fr\u00fch und wir schlugen lieber bei den Vorspeisen, anstatt beim Alkohol zu. Nach einigem St\u00f6bern in der Speisekarte entschieden wir uns f\u00fcr &#8222;Poh Piard Thord&#8220; &#8211; das sind sechs knusprig gebackene Fr\u00fchlingsrollen mit Pflaumen-Chili-Dip (f\u00fcr 10,50\u20ac). Die R\u00f6llchen &#8211; seht euch am besten die Fotos an &#8211; sind aber nicht so klein wie bei vielen anderen asiatischen Restaurants, sondern f\u00fcr den kleinen Hunger schon fast s\u00e4ttigend. Da jedoch weder ich noch meine Begleitung einen kleinen Hunger hatten lie\u00dfen wir uns von der freundlichen Kellnerin bei der Hauptspeise eine Empfehlung aussprechen. Ich hatte Lust auf Sushi und bestellte mir wie empfohlen das Sushi Classic Set &#8222;Sumida&#8220;. Dieses beinhaltet vier St\u00fcck Premium Sushi vom Maguro, Ebi Garnele, Hokkigai-Muschel und Lachs. Dazu gibt\u00b4s noch eine California Rolle mit echter Eismeerkrabbe, Avocado und Tobikko-Gold-Flugfischkaviar (f\u00fcr 21,50\u20ac). Meine Begleitung hingegen entschied sich f\u00fcr eine Curry-Variante. Sie wurden gleichzeitig und appetitlich angerichtet serviert. Mein Sushi wurde nicht kalt, so widmeten wir uns zuerst einmal dem Curry. Eine gro\u00dfz\u00fcgige Portion mit ausreichend Reis &#8211; nicht immer selbstverst\u00e4ndlich &#8211; wurde in zwei verschiedenen T\u00f6pfchen serviert, getrennt durch ein hauchd\u00fcnnes St\u00fcck Brot &#8211; \u00e4hnlich dem indischen &#8222;Papadam&#8220;. Das Curry hatte eine angenehme und auch f\u00fcr mich noch zu bew\u00e4ltigende Sch\u00e4rfe. Wenn ihr nicht gerne scharf esst, solltet ihr euch am besten etwas anderes ausw\u00e4hlen. Das d\u00fcrfte durch die gebotene Vielfalt kein Problem sein. Auch das Rindfleisch war zart, kein bisschen z\u00e4h und gut portioniert. Mein Sushi sah wundervoll aus und schmeckte auch genauso. Es gab nichts auszusetzen, lediglich die Hokkigai-Muschel lie\u00df ich zur H\u00e4lfte liegen. Die freundliche Kellnerin musste l\u00e4cheln als sie das sah, weil sie meinte, dass das die meisten Europ\u00e4er so machen, da der Geschmack &#8211; recht trocken und fremd &#8211; einfach zu unbekannt f\u00fcr die meisten Gaumen zu sein scheint. (Auf dem Foto das Nigiri mit dem schwarzen Algenstreifen rum gewickelt). Ich kann euch sowohl die Sushi-Variation, als auch das Curry empfehlen. Werft aber auch auf die gesamte Speisekarte, denn die Vielfalt allein an Sushi-Variationen, einzelnen Nigiris, Makis und Co. ist beachtenswert. Ich werde sicherlich bald wieder kommen um ein wenig mehr davon kosten zu k\u00f6nnen. Ganz im Gegenteil. Es wird mit einem umfangreichen Brunch aufgetrumpft und zwar immer sonntags von 12:00 Uhr &#8211; 15:30 Uhr (45 mal im Jahr, exklusive der Sommerferien-Zeit). Dort erwarten euch f\u00fcr 39\u20ac pro Nase diverse asiatische K\u00f6stlichkeiten wie verschiedenes Sushi-Varianten, Austern, sechs verschiedene Vorspeisen-Salate, unterschiedliche Hauptgerichte und auch s\u00fc\u00dfe K\u00f6stlichkeiten. Unter der Woche gibt\u00b4s immer von Montag bis Freitag ab 11:30 Uhr bis 18:30 Uhr f\u00fcnf verschiedene Nudelgerichte in unterschiedlichen Kombinationen f\u00fcr 9,80\u20ac inklusive einem 02, Liter Softdrink-Getr\u00e4nk. Fairer Preis, oder? Herren an unserem Nachbartisch nahmen dieses Angebot gerade in Anspruch als ich beim Testen war und ich fragte nach, ob es schmeckt und ob sie \u00f6fter k\u00e4men. Es kann f\u00fcr diverse Feierlichkeiten auch bereichsweise angemietet werden. So gibt es z.B. den Bereich der &#8222;Bambus Empore&#8220;, welche im relativ abgetrennten und ruhigen Bereich Platz f\u00fcr 70 Personen bietet und somit ideal f\u00fcr mittelgro\u00dfe Veranstaltungen und Feiern ist. Wer im Mangostin eine Veranstaltung plant, kann sich vertrauensvoll damit an das Servicepersonal wenden und es wird gemeinsam mit euch gepr\u00fcft, wie es f\u00fcr euch am besten ist. Ge\u00f6ffnet ist das Restaurant t\u00e4glich von 10:30 Uhr bis 22:00 Uhr, bezahlt werden kann mit der Karte. Wahren Asiafood-Fans k\u00f6nnt ihr im \u00fcbrigen einen Gutschein ausstellen lassen. Mittags k\u00f6nnt ihr i.d.R. mit bis zu 10 Personen einfach immer vorbei kommen ohne zu reservieren. Am Wochenende und zum Brunch solltet ihr auf jeden Fall vorab reservieren, sonst kann es sein, dass ihr in ein anderes Restaurant am Flughafen M\u00fcnchen ausweichen m\u00fcsst.
