Juni bis zum 8. September 2016 findet in dem relativ neuer\u00f6ffneten Restaurant &#8222;Sophia&#8217;s Restaurant &amp; Bar&#8220; im The Charles Hotel das neue Terrassen Event &#8222;Grill &amp; Chill&#8220; statt. Der Titel beschreibt im Grunde schon den Fokus des w\u00f6chentlich mittwochs und donnerstags stattfindenden Events auf der gro\u00dfz\u00fcgigen f\u00fcr ca. 30 &#8211; 40 Personen ausgelegten Terrasse des Restaurants: Grillen, entspannen und nat\u00fcrlich auch kulinarisch genie\u00dfen &#8211; samt DJ, Buffet und Grill inklusive. \u00dcber das Restaurant selbst erfahrt ihr mehr in meinem vergangenen <a href=\"http:\/\/essengehenistaucheinhobby.de\/alle\/sophias\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Artikel \u00fcber &#8222;Sophia&#8217;s Restaurant und Bar&#8220;<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Ich hatte das Gl\u00fcck direkt bei der ersten Gelegenheit und in der ersten Woche am Donnerstagabend einen Tisch zu bekommen. (Reserviert unbedingt vorab!) Nach dem Ankommen nahm ich gemeinsam mit meiner \u00a0Begleitung auf der gem\u00fctlichen Terrasse an einem vorab eingedeckten Tisch Platz. Der freundlichen Restaurantleiter und unserer f\u00fcr den Abend zust\u00e4ndigen Servicekraft erkl\u00e4rten uns das Konzept von &#8222;Grill &amp; Chill&#8220; und brachten uns die Karten. Das Sophia&#8217;s selbst beschreibt es so: &#8222;K\u00f6stliches aus dem Green Egg (- ein Grill) trifft auf urbane Beats in entspanntem Ambiente&#8220;. &#8211; Und auch das ist wiederum ziemlich auf den Punkt gebracht. Ihr vergesst ganz sicher schnell die Zeit, wenn ihr euch von dem umfangreichen Vorspeisenbuffet auf der Terrasse die ein oder andere K\u00f6stlichkeit holt und vom stressigen Alltag erholt. margin-bottom: -0px;\"><b>Grill &amp; Chill: Die Speisekarte und das Buffet\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Damit ihr euch schon am Tisch einen \u00dcberblick verschaffen k\u00f6nnt wird euch gemeinsam mit der Cocktailkarte eine extra f\u00fcr das Grill &amp; Chill-Event zusammen gestellte Speisekarte \u00fcberreicht &#8211; best\u00fcckt mit K\u00f6stlichkeiten vom Vorspeisenbuffet (mit verschiedenen Blatt- und Rohkostsalaten, Gazpacho von der Tomate und Wassermelone, Salat Ni\u00e7oise, Tomaten-Brotsalat mit Taggiasca Oliven und italienischer Landschinken mit eingelegtem Gem\u00fcse) und Hauptg\u00e4ngen vom Grill (n\u00e4mlich argentinisches Entrec\u00f4te, franz\u00f6sischer Merguez, H\u00e4hnchenkeulen vom Gutshof Polting, Loup de Mer mit Kr\u00e4utern oder Black Tiger Garnelen (zwischen 29\u20ac bis 45\u20ac inklusive Vorspeisenbuffet)), sowie zus\u00e4tzliche Beilagen (Baked Potato &amp; Lecker, oder?<\/p><\/div>\n<h3 style=\"font-size: 15px; margin-bottom: -0px;\"><b>Grill &amp; Chill: Ablauf, Auswahl der Speisen &amp; Bewertung<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Ihr startet also nach der Auswahl eures Drinks (ich empfehle euch den &#8222;Sophias&#8220; (f\u00fcr 19\u20ac) und den &#8222;Green Gimlet&#8220; (f\u00fcr 15\u20ac) &#8211; zwei sehr erfrischende und zum Sommer passende Cocktails &#8211; lasst euch \u00fcberraschen) und k\u00f6nnt dann auch direkt zum am Ende der Terrasse aufgebauten Vorspeisenbuffet \u00fcbergehen. Die gelisteten Preise auf der\u00a0Grill &amp; Chill-Karte hinter den jeweiligen Hauptgerichten beinhalten das Vorspeisenbuffet (18\u20ac pro Person) und das Hauptgericht. Klickt euch am besten durch die Fotos in der Galerie und schaut euch selbst an, was das Buffet im Detail f\u00fcr euch bereit h\u00e4lt. Mein Favorit war der Tomaten-Brotsalat (bei meinem Besuch ohne Oliven &#8211; aber ich mag sowieso keine Oliven ;-)) und der im kleinen Sch\u00e4lchen bereit gestellte Thunfisch mit sommerlichen Salat. Ich holte mir, obwohl ihr nat\u00fcrlich \u00f6fter losziehen k\u00f6nnt, nur einen kleinen Teller Vorspeisen, da wir &#8211; wie jeder Gast &#8211; auch noch ein gro\u00dfes Brett mit frischem Sauerteigbrot, hausgemachten Focaccia, Gem\u00fcse zum Dippen samt Dip und Meersalz serviert bekamen (siehe Fotos in der Galerie). Dieses Brett mit frischem Brot (etc.) bekommt ihr auch serviert, wenn ihr \u00e1 la carte im Restaurant esst, bzw. das aktuelle Sommermen\u00fc bestellt. Ich liebe das hausgemachte Focaccia im Sophia&#8217;s und ratz fatz war das gesamte Brett leer. Cocktail bestellt oder wartet, bis die Vorspeisenrunde geschafft ist. Solltet ihr vielleicht nicht all zu lange Zeit haben, empfehle ich euch direkt vor dem Gang zum Buffet ein Hauptgericht zu bestellen, da das bei der Zubereitung ein Weilchen gedauert hat. Bei der Wahl der Hauptspeise,\u00a0empfehle ich euch auf jeden Fall, den von mir gew\u00e4hlten Loup de Mer mit Baked Potato als Beilage. Auf meinem Bild mag das schwer zu erkennen sein, jedoch war der zarte Fisch auf den Punkt angebraten und auch die von mir gew\u00e4hlte Beilagen-Kartoffel (eine gro\u00dfe Ofenkartoffel mit Sour Cream) schmeckte mir gut. Meiner Begleitung war nach Fleisch zu Mute und so gab es das erw\u00e4hnte &#8211; wunschweise medium gebratene &#8211; Entrec\u00f4te mit Gem\u00fcse. Zwar war das Fleisch dann ganz klar medium rare &#8211; ich kostete auch &#8211; angebraten, aber mit dem frischen Gem\u00fcse dennoch geschmacklich fein und gut portioniert. Ein wenig muss ich meiner Begleitung wohl auch selbst die Schuld in die Schuhe schieben, da es im Sophia&#8217;s nat\u00fcrlich eine Selbstverst\u00e4ndlichkeit ist, dass nochmals neu- oder nachgebraten wird, wenn das Fleisch nicht die gew\u00fcnschte Garstufe erreicht hat. Klar hat das Sommer-Event seinen Preis, es lohnt sich in meinen Augen jedoch, wenn man sich Zeit nimmt und Appetit hat. Schnell hin und zack zack essen &#8211; daf\u00fcr ist das Grill &amp; Chill &#8211; Event ganz klar zu schade. Ihr k\u00f6nnt ja selbst entscheiden, wie umfangreich ihr es gestalten wollt und ob ihr sowohl Vor-, Haupt-, als auch Nachspeise einplant. Nat\u00fcrlich k\u00f6nnt ihr mittwochs und donnerstags auch ganz normal \u00e1 la carte bestellen oder auch das sommerliche 4-G\u00e4ngemen\u00fc im Freien genie\u00dfen. Ich f\u00fchlte mich &#8211; es war eine wundervoll laue Sommernacht &#8211; nach einem Weilchen tats\u00e4chlich wie im Urlaub auf der ruhige Terrasse und h\u00e4tte ewig sitzen bleiben k\u00f6nnen. In der Regel k\u00f6nnt ihr das f\u00fcr Grill &amp; Chill bis 22:00 Uhr (ab 18:00 Uhr) tun, ist aber wirklich viel los und die Stimmung einfach zu sch\u00f6n, wird auch gerne k\u00fcnftig mal bis 23:30 Uhr ausgedehnt. Ich empfehle euch das Event am Donnerstag zu buchen und so einen gem\u00fctlichen Einstieg in den langsamen Start des Wochenendes zu finden.
