Ich habe mir das Restaurant gemeinsam mit meiner Begleitung direkt nach der Er\u00f6ffnung am 21.10.2016 angesehen und muss sagen: Wow! Warum ich so begeistert bin? Mit dem Namen und dem damit verbundenen Konzept m\u00f6chten die Betreiber des Restaurants an den ehemals als Arbeiterviertel bekannten Stadtteil Westend erinnern, bzw. an dessen Ursprung. Darum auch Factory (Fabrik) &#8211; viel Industrie und Arbeit pr\u00e4gten einst das Viertel. Die Wurzel des Namens und der Idee erkennt man auch in der bewusst einer Fabrik \u00e4hnelnden Ausstattung des schicken Restaurants. Das Besondere an diesem d\u00fcrfte ganz klar das Konzept dahinter sein. Hier kommt n\u00e4mlich alles was bestellt wird auf die Mitte des Tisches und jeder darf zugreifen. Einzelne Gerichte f\u00fcr sich selbst bestellt man hier also nicht, sondern immer f\u00fcr alle G\u00e4ste am Tisch. Am meisten macht die Westend Steak &amp; Fish Factory Spa\u00df, wenn man sich also seine\/n Liebsten schnappt, einige Vor- und Hauptspeisen bestellt und gemeinsam genie\u00dft.<\/p>\n<p>Die Zutaten f\u00fcr die einzelnen Gerichte haben in der Westend Steak &amp; Fish Factory einen m\u00f6glichst regionalen Bezug. So stammt der Fisch zum Beispiel aus der Fischerei Franz Weindl in Schongau am Lech, das Fleisch mitunter vom Karlshof in Ismaning oder auch vom Hofgut Schwaige in M\u00fcnchen (Dry Age New York Cut mit ca. 800 Gramm). Auch bei den Getr\u00e4nken wird auf m\u00f6glichst regionalen Bezug geachtet und so\u00a0gibt\u00b4s zum Beispiel\u00a0&#8222;Kracherl&#8220; vom Starnberger See in verschiedenen Sorten oder reinen Apfelsaft vom Holzerhof aus Ismaning. Genauso wird eine tolle Auswahl von ca. 25 &#8211; 35 Weinen aus Deutschland, Norditalien und \u00d6sterreich angeboten. In der Westend Steak &amp; Fish Factory n\u00e4mlich z\u00e4hlt neben dem regionalen Bezug der stets qualitativ hochwertigen Zutaten eines ganz klar: Einfache, bodenst\u00e4ndige und authentische K\u00fcche f\u00fcr die G\u00e4ste. Bestimmte Zutaten gibt es nur in einer bestimmten Menge bzw. Saison und so wird das jeweilige Gericht eben nur f\u00fcr einen kurzen Zeitraum bestellbar sein. Die K\u00f6nigsdisziplin der Facotry: Fleisch und Fisch. Die Speisekarte wechselt je nach Verf\u00fcgbarkeit und Saisonalit\u00e4t der Zutaten regelm\u00e4\u00dfig durch. Serviert wurden uns einige Vorspeisen, Hauptspeisen, ein Dessert und tolle Weine.\u00a0Sobald ihr an einem der gem\u00fctlichen Tische sitzt und eure Getr\u00e4nkew\u00fcnsche aufgenommen wurden, wird euch ein t\u00e4glich frisch gebackenes Brot mit hausgemachtem Dip auf einem wuchtigen Holzbrettchen serviert. Bei uns war das ein gehaltvolles Roggenbrot sowie ein Frischk\u00e4se-Rote Beete-Dip mit Kresse. Danach ging es mit den zahlreichen kleinen und abwechslungsreichen Vorspeisen weiter. Bis diese serviert wurden bekamen wir einen spritzig-prickelnden Riesling Sekt von Markus Molitor als Aperitif. Wer auf Bubbles und hochwertigen Sekt steht, hat hiermit sicherlich einen guten Start in den Abend gew\u00e4hlt. Auch bei den Vorspeisen gilt das Sharing-Prinzip und alles landet in der Mitte des Tisches.\u00a0F\u00fcr uns gab es eine tolle Zusammenstellung.<\/p>\n<p>So standen vor meiner Begleitung und mir einmal der\u00a0&#8222;K\u00fcrbis Shot&#8220; mit Kern\u00f6l und Brotw\u00fcrfel&#8220; (f\u00fcr 6\u20ac), die optisch an Sushi erinnernde &#8222;Bavarian Roll&#8220; mit Brezenkn\u00f6del, Meerrettich, Urm\u00f6hre und Biersoja (f\u00fcr 7\u20ac), der &#8222;Monaco Caesar Salad&#8220; mit Romana Salad, Brezen und Bergk\u00e4se (f\u00fcr 7\u20ac), der 24 Stunden gegarte Schweinebauch mit Schwarzwurzel und Radieserl (f\u00fcr 9\u20ac), das &#8222;Almochsen Tatar&#8220; (f\u00fcr 15 oder 22\u20ac &#8211; je nach Menge), sowie die ger\u00e4ucherte Lachsforelle aus dem Schongau mit roter Beete, Kresse und Pumpernickel (f\u00fcr 9\u20ac). \u00a0Mein absoluter Favorit und zum Reinlegen gut war die Bavaria Roll &#8211; eine geschmackliche Mixtour aus Frische, Knackigkeit, Geschmack und W\u00fcrze. Echt toll und ein Muss bei eurem Besuch. Auch das schick angerichtete Tatar war klasse. Tatar mag man entweder oder nicht. Trifft ersteres zu d\u00fcrfte der Almochse von der Karte euch gute Dienste erweisen. Fein ging es auch mit dem\u00a0Caesar Salad weiter. Dessen Dressing, als auch Geschmack in seinen einzelnen Komponenten war einfach klasse und durch sowohl Breze, als auch Bergk\u00e4se erfrischend anders und neu interpretiert. Genauer gesagt mit einer Fleischplatte, serviert auf einem Holzbrett mit Dreierlei Fleisch: Entrec\u00f4te vom Kalb aus dem M\u00fcnsterland (f\u00fcr 26\u20ac), &#8222;Porki&#8220; Dry Age Schweinekotelette (f\u00fcr 29\u20ac) und Ochsen Roastbeef vom Gut Karlshof aus Ismaning (f\u00fcr 33\u20ac) mit hausgemachter Demi Glace. Dazu separat serviert Saibling aus Schongau (f\u00fcr 24\u20ac) mit hausgemachter Senfsauce. Dazu serviert wurde eine gro\u00dfe Sch\u00fcssel frisch angemachter Salat, sowie ein Topf mit frischem Gem\u00fcse und Kartoffeln. Das ist in der Westend\u00a0Steak &amp; Fish Factory normal: Zu allen Hauptspeisen n\u00e4mlich gibt\u00b4s hier tagesfrische Beilagen und Salat. Das Gem\u00fcse solltet ihr euch genauer ansehen und intensiv schmecken. In diesem findet ihr z.B. die seltene Gem\u00fcsesorte &#8222;Bimi&#8220; &#8211; eine Kreuzung aus Broccoli und Spargel. Den Abschluss bildete ein\u00a0tolles Dessert. Davon gibt es immer zwei unterschiedliche in der Factory: Einmal K\u00e4se, einmal Blechkuchen je nach Saison. Ich setzte beim Entrec\u00f4te aus dem M\u00fcnsterland mit dem scharfen Schneidemesser an und merkte schon von dem Einschnitt, was mich gleich erwartet: Fleisch par excellence. Zart, auf den Punkt angebraten und butterweich. Einen kurzen Moment verfluchte ich das Sharing-Prinzip. \ud83d\ude09 Auch Schweinekotelette und Roastbeef &#8211; wahnsinn! Ich habe euch bei den Fotos extra Bilder nach dem ersten Cut angef\u00fcgt. Bilder sagen mehr als 1.000 Worte. Auch der Fisch war super frisch. Ich muss zugeben, auf Grund des tollen Fleisches verga\u00df ich ihn zu Beginn, probierte dann aber ein St\u00fcckchen mit der Senfsauce. Frischer und auch hier zarter geht es nicht. Meine Begleitung war hingegen so begeistert von der hausgemachten Demi-Glace, dass die Sauce sogar &#8222;f\u00e4lschlicherweise&#8220; auf dem Fisch landete. \ud83d\ude09 Kulinarisch gesehen befanden wir uns an diesem Abend ganz klar im Himmel.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"font-size: 15px; margin-bottom: -0px;\"><b>Ambiente und Service<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Das Restaurant ist &#8211; angelehnt an den Namen und die Geschichte des Westends &#8211; gestaltet wie eine Fabrik. Blanke W\u00e4nde, angenehm erdige und graue T\u00f6ne, Schlichtheit und Design geschickt kombiniert. In vielen kleinen Details spiegelt sich das Konzept und die Geschichte der Lage und des Restaurants wieder. So wurden z.B. die oben erw\u00e4hnten Bavarian Rolls auf einer Miniatur-Europalette (siehe Foto) serviert und auch bei vielen weiteren Details auf eine Linie geachtet. Ich f\u00fchlte mich schon direkt nach dem Reinkommen wohl. Nie zu oft am Tisch oder zu zweit weg als dass man lange auf etwas warten m\u00fcsste. Beim Essen wurde uns alles freundlich erkl\u00e4rt, Fragen zu den Weinen, der Herkunft der Zutaten und vielem mehr beantwortet. (Apropos Weine: Werft unbedingt einen Blick auf die Karte und lasst euch hier gerne bei Auswahl und Stimmigkeit zum jeweiligen Gericht beraten. Es wird nat\u00fcrlich auch glasweise ausgeschenkt!) Was mir auch sehr gut gefallen hat bei meinem Besuch: Der Chef des Hauses schaut immer wieder mal bei den G\u00e4sten an den Tischen vorbei, fragt ob alles passt und schnackt auch gerne mal ein zwei Takte. Ungezwungen und ganz locker. Was ich mir ebenfalls nicht nehmen lie\u00df: Die Hand der gerade einmal 20-j\u00e4hrigen Azubine Saskia Rittmann zu sch\u00fctteln, welche das hochgelobte Fleisch so exzellent und auf den Punkt f\u00fcr uns zubereitet hatte. Wenn ihr es genau wissen wollt noch diese Woche. Es ist schon reserviert f\u00fcr mich und einen Freund. Selten habe ich so gutes Fleisch gegessen, habe mich zugleich so pers\u00f6nlich gut betreut und wohl gef\u00fchlt wie in der Westend\u00a0Steak &amp; Fish Factory. F\u00fcr mich der ideale Ort f\u00fcr Fleischfans, Fischfreaks und Freunde eines guten Glas Weins am Abend. Schreibt euch den Laden\u00a0unbedingt auf eure To Do Liste. Die K\u00fcche ist kreativ und abwechslungsreich, der Service herzlich.<\/p>\n<p>Ge\u00f6ffnet hat das Restaurant von 12:00 Uhr bis 14:30 Uhr, sowie von 18:00 Uhr bis 23:30 Uhr, warme K\u00fcche gibt es bis 22:00 Uhr. Reservieren macht Sinn und ist auch noch kurzfristig m\u00f6glich. Das Restaurant bietet f\u00fcr 75 Personen im Inneren an ca. 20 Tischen (je nach Platzierung dieser) und 30 weitere G\u00e4ste auf der gem\u00fctlichen Terrasse Platz. Parken d\u00fcrfte kein Problem sein, von der U-Bahn, der S-Bahn und Busstationen &#8222;Heimeranplatz&#8220; ist das Restaurant nur einen Steinwurf entfernt. Einmal im Monat wird &#8211; auch wieder Bezug zur Regionalit\u00e4t &#8211; eine Mikrobrauerei aus der Region vorgestellt und ihr k\u00f6nnt neues Bier probieren &#8211; aktuell z.B. die Brauerei im Eiswerk (&#8222;Joseph Spezial&#8220; mit leichter Rauchnote, kr\u00e4ftigem Malzcharakter und angenehmen R\u00f6staromen | 0,33l f\u00fcr 6,90\u20ac). Immer wieder finden auch Weinabende statt.
