Das Geschmackserlebnis reicht von Malz oder Karamell \u00fcber Feige bis hin zu einer schokoladigen Note. Das ist ein kr\u00e4ftiges Starkbier, welches mit einer h\u00f6heren Stammw\u00fcrze eingebraut wird und dessen Maische durch geringere Wasserzugabe dickfl\u00fcssiger als bei anderen Bieren ist. Es gibt helle und dunkle Bockbiere. F\u00fcr HEILAND wird bayerischer dunkler Doppelbock verwendet. Dazu kommen Karamell, Rum und verschiedene Gew\u00fcrze. Mehr von der Rezeptur wird im Detail nat\u00fcrlich nicht verraten, da es das Team von HEILAND lange Zeit und \u00fcber 100 Versuche gekostet hat, bis die finale Rezeptur stand. Genauer gesagt Max Hofstetter f\u00fcr Marketing und Design, Kay Thieme als Vertriebsleiter und Stefan Hofstetter als Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrer. Letzterer war es auch, welcher vor der Entstehung von HEILAND und w\u00e4hrend dem Mixen eines &#8222;Old Fashioned Beer Cocktail&#8220; als \u00a0damaliger Barmann, die Vision hatte seinen eigens kreierten Liqueur auf Bierbasis zu erfinden. Gesagt, getan: Vor ziemlich genau drei Jahren entstanden so nach einigen Vorkehrungen die ersten selbst gebrauten 1,5 Liter Bierliqueur. Mit diesem fiel es dann nicht schwer auch die anderen beiden Gr\u00fcnder Max und Kay mit ins Boot zu holen. Nat\u00fcrlich war das finale Rezept, so wie ihr es euch heute in unterschiedlichen Flaschen kaufen k\u00f6nnt, zu diesem Zeitpunkt noch nicht fertig. Das dauerte weitere sieben Monate, schlaflose N\u00e4chte und Fehlversuche lang. Irgendwann war es dann aber so weit und alles kochen und experimentieren zahlte sich aus: HEILAND, auch als der &#8222;Messias unter den Bierliqueuren&#8220; betitelt, war geboren. Nach einem erfolgreichen Jahr brach das n\u00e4chste an und es war klar: HEILAND w\u00e4chst, die eigene Manufaktur muss her. Und so sieht\u00b4s heute &#8211; genauer gesagt seit Januar 2016 &#8211; aus: Der HEILAND Doppelbockliqueur wird in der eigens f\u00fcr die Produktion eingerichteten Manufaktur hergestellt, per Hand gebraut, abgef\u00fcllt, etikettiert und verpackt. (Wichtig: Vor dem \u00d6ffnen der Flasche m\u00fcsst diesen ein wenig in der Flasche schwenken, damit die (ggf.\u00a0unten abgesetzten) Elemente des Liqueurs aufgesch\u00fcttelt werden.) Schon beim Schwenken im Glas f\u00e4llt auf: Ganz anders als andere Liqueure hat der HEILAND Doppelbock keine sirupartige Konsistenz. Unerwartet und anders auch im Geruch: Der Grundton des Liqueurs sind Gew\u00fcrznoten von Thymian und Salbei, auch eine klare Zimtnote, samt Nelke sowie fruchtige Nuancen von Heidelbeere sind erkennbar. Im Mund war f\u00fcr mich zuerst eine angenehme und dezente S\u00fc\u00dfe zu schmecken. Danach Getreide und ein Hauch schokoladiger Geschmack, gefolgt von einer krautig-intensiven Note am Gaumen. Ein Liqueur der andere seiner Art definitiv in den Schatten stellt. Und so hat mich der HEILAND geschmacklich pers\u00f6nlich \u00fcberzeugt, auch weil die 23 Volumenprozent &#8222;dezent verpackt&#8220; sind. Pur habe ich ihn mit kr\u00e4ftigem K\u00e4se sowie einem recht zuckrigen Dessert probiert und wurde beide male nicht entt\u00e4uscht. An mir ist kein Barkeeper verloren gegangen und dennoch wollte ich im Anschluss noch eines der Cocktail-Rezepte ausprobieren.
