Probiert habe ich diese Wurst zwar noch nie, aber so richtig kann das f\u00fcr mich gar nicht schmecken wie eine &#8222;echt gute Currywurst&#8220;. Anders ist das &#8211; das wei\u00df ich nun nach meinem 22. Test am Flughafen M\u00fcnchen &#8211; bei der Currywurst von Smokey Joe\u00b4s. Ich bin mir sicher, dass wir alle schon mindestens einmal, wenn nicht mehrfach, an dem definitiv als &#8222;Blickf\u00e4nger&#8220; zu bezeichnenden Foodtruck im Fliegerstyle vorbei gelaufen sind. In meinem heutigen Test ging\u00b4s f\u00fcr mich jedoch nicht dran vorbei, sondern hin, zu dem auff\u00e4lligen Curry-Wurst Hotspot. Und Currywurst schon gar nicht gleich Currywurst. Eine gute in M\u00fcnchen zu finden, das ist in der Tat nicht ganz so leicht, aber m\u00f6glich. Eine ganz sch\u00f6n gute zum Beispiel wird in dem im MAC-Forum des Flughafen M\u00fcnchens platzierten &#8222;Flieger-Foodtruck&#8220; angeboten. Dort wird die Currywurst als &#8222;Smokey Joe\u00b4s Currywurst rot&#8220;, als &#8222;Original Berliner Currywurst&#8220; im Berlin style (ohne Darm) und als &#8222;Original Currywurst&#8220; aus dem Ruhrgebiet (mit Darm) zubereitet. Zur Wahl stehen drei verschiedene Saucen, bzw. ist die Basis eine regionale und eigens f\u00fcr das Smokey Joe\u00b4s hergestellte Sauce, welche in drei verschiedenen Sch\u00e4rfegraden auf die Wurst kommt. Die &#8222;Classic&#8220;-Sauce, f\u00fcr die unter euch, die\u00b4s eigentlich gar nicht wirklich scharf wollen, die &#8222;Medium&#8220;-Variante mit mittlerer Sch\u00e4rfe und die &#8222;Hot&#8220;-Variante f\u00fcr die ganz harten Jungs.<\/p>\n<p>Die Smokey Joe\u00b4s Currywurst samt Sauce nach eigener Wahl kostet faire 4,50\u20ac. Sprich, die angebotenen &#8222;Airport Fries XXL&#8220; (Pommes Frites) m\u00fcssen nicht zwingend, k\u00f6nnen aber im Paket samt Wurst und Sauce f\u00fcr 6,90\u20ac bestellt werden. Wahlweise gibt\u00b4s die Wurst samt Sauce und &#8222;Flieger-Krustl&#8220; f\u00fcr 5,50\u20ac. Die Beilagen einzeln liegen bei 1,20\u20ac f\u00fcr das Flieger-Krustl, 3,90\u20ac f\u00fcr die Airport Fries XXL oder auch bei\u00a01,50\u20ac f\u00fcr eine Breze. (Ach ja&#8230;ein Flieger-Krustl ist \u00fcbrigens &#8222;einfach nur&#8220; ein Baguette-Br\u00f6tchen. Da viele Amerikaner die Currywurst als solche gar nicht kennen und f\u00e4lschlicherweise ein &#8222;Hotdog&#8220; bestellen, wurde als &#8222;charmante Antwort darauf&#8220; dann eben die Currywurst samt Flieger-Krustl aufgenommen. :-))<\/p>\n<p>Das war auch schon &#8211; neben Getr\u00e4nken &#8211; das Angebot von Smokey Joe\u00b4s. Mehr braucht\u00b4s auch nicht: Wurst, Pommes, Getr\u00e4nk, fertig. In auff\u00e4lligem Design und st\u00e4ndig &#8222;up to date&#8220;, was technische und hygienische Standards in der &#8222;Foodtruck-Szene&#8220; angeht, bietet der Smokey Joe\u00b4s Currywurst Wagen seit 11 Jahren f\u00fcr alle M\u00fcnchner, Touristen und Flugg\u00e4ste k\u00f6stliche Currywurst an. Vor dem Wagen selbst, an dem eigentlich selten niemand, daf\u00fcr aber niemals jemand lange ansteht, stehen noch f\u00fcnf in gelben Look designte Hochtische mit Smokey Joe\u00b4s Logo und 12 einfache Sitztische mit insgesamt ca. 40 Sitz- und 20 weiteren Stehpl\u00e4tzen. Eure Wurst k\u00f6nnt ihr euch also auch in der Sonne schmecken lassen &#8211; doch seid vorgewarnt: Im Sommer tun euch das oft viele gleich und dann gibt\u00b4s nur noch ein Stehpl\u00e4tzchen oder es bleibt nur ein anderes Sonnenpl\u00e4tzchen aufzusuchen. Der Truck selbst, in seinem silbernen Gewand, ist richtig cool. Meine Erwartungen waren also entsprechend hoch, als ich mir eine &#8222;Smokey Joy\u00b4s Currywurst rot&#8220; samt Airport Fries XXL bestellte. Nach Bier war mir am Vormittag nicht, so gab\u00b4s die Wurst ohne Getr\u00e4nk. Serviert wird sie in kleinen St\u00fcckchen, begraben unter der reichlich portionierten Sauce. Wie gew\u00fcnscht \u2013 ich w\u00e4hlte die mildeste Sch\u00e4rfestufe aus \u2013 war die Sauce\u00a0kaum scharf. Die Wurst hatte einen guten, nicht fettigen Geschmack und schmeckte so, wie ich mir das vorgestellt habe. Die Kunst ist es meiner Meinung nach auch, die Wurst geschmacklich nicht vollkommen durch die beigef\u00fcgte Sauce abzut\u00f6ten, sprich beiden Komponenten noch den Eigengeschmack, trotz der Kombination, zu lassen. Das gl\u00fcckt bei Smokey Joe\u00b4s ganz gut. Die r\u00f6schen und gelbgolden Pommes, werden mit in dem kleinen, welligen Pappsch\u00e4lchen serviert und auf die Wurst samt Sauce und Currypulver gelegt. Preis-Leistung stimmt auch, wobei mit knapp 7\u20ac kein wirkliches Schn\u00e4ppchen vor mir stand. Satt, das war ich in der Tat danach, wenn auch heute mal nicht sonderlich gesundheitsf\u00f6rdernd. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"font-size: 15px; margin-bottom: -0px;\"><b>Hardfacts und\u00a0Fazit<\/b><b><\/b><\/h4>\n<p>Ge\u00f6ffnet ist Smokey Joe\u00b4s in den kalten Wintermonaten von 10:00 Uhr bis 19:00 Uhr, von April bis Oktober von 08:00 Uhr bis 21:00 Uhr. Flughafen Mitarbeiter bekommen 20% Rabatt auf ihre Bestellung. Bezahlt wird hier nur bar. Hingegen dem Klischee, dass Currywurst nur was f\u00fcr M\u00e4nner ist, kann ich auch den weiblichen Lesern unter euch nur empfehlen bei Smokey Joe\u00b4s vorbei zu schauen. Klar, Currywurst mit Fritten isst man jetzt nicht alle Tage, aber zwischendurch, wenn\u00b4s auch mal etwas weniger gesund sein darf, ist das schon erlaubt. Mir hat die Wurst in der Tat ganz gut geschmeckt und ich werde, da der Smokey Joe\u00b4s Wagen je nach stattfindenden Events am Flughafen auch immer wieder mal Platz wechselt, auf jeden Fall bei meinem n\u00e4chsten Besuch am Flughafen, Ausschau nach ihm halten.
