Darum habe ich mir schon vor einer Weile angew\u00f6hnt, regelm\u00e4\u00dfig durch die einzelnen Stadtteile zu spazieren und dabei die Augen offen zu halten, f\u00fcr all die Neuer\u00f6ffnungen und kulinarischen Highlights. Meiner Meinung nach entdecke ich so am meisten der (neuen) nennenswerten Gastro-Hotspots unserer Stadt. Einmal mehr best\u00e4tigt wurde diese These, durch meinen w\u00e4hrend eines solchen Spaziergangs spontan eingelegten Besuches in der Ende 2018 neuer\u00f6ffneten Taco Company auf Schwabings Amalienstra\u00dfe. Nach einigen Monaten des T\u00fcftelns er\u00f6ffnete dieser gemeinsam mit seinem teilweise englischsprachigen Team die erste (&#8230;es sind schon jetzt weitere Niederlassungen geplant&#8230;) Taco Company in Schwabing. Das Motto: &#8222;Enjoy fresh food&#8220;, wobei eine der wichtigsten Komponenten auch schon genannt w\u00e4re: Frische bei den Zutaten und gute Qualit\u00e4t bei den Produkten sowie ein steter Blick auf das wichtige Thema Nachhaltigkeit. Nun also werden seit gut vier Monaten Tacos und Burritos in verschiedenen Sorten angeboten, wahlweise mit Fleisch, ohne Fleisch oder auch vegetarisch und vegan. Bestellt wird direkt am Tresen, welche un\u00fcbersehbar im vorderen Bereich des kleinen, f\u00fcr ca. 20 G\u00e4ste ausgelegten Ladens platziert ist. Die Speisekarte h\u00e4ngt in Tafelform an der Wand, die Getr\u00e4nke werden aus dem seitlich platzierten K\u00fchlregal genommen, welches zugleich auch die eigens von der Taco Company zusammengestellten Salate k\u00fchlt. Neben Tacos und Burritos gibt es auch eine t\u00e4glich wechselnde Tagessuppe, bei meinem Besuch war das eine Kokos-Karotten-Ingwer-Suppe \u2013 ideal f\u00fcr die jetzt doch noch etwas k\u00fchlen Tage. Habt ihr bestellt, setzt ihr euch entweder direkt an einen der (Hoch)tische und wartet auf eure servierte Bestellung oder nehmt eure Tacos, Burritos, Salate oder Suppen einfach direkt mit. Diese sind beide\u00a0in der Standardvariante mit 100% Bio-Rindfleisch aus \u00d6sterreich, Cheddar und Salat best\u00fcckt. Ich probierte sowohl Taco(s), als auch Burrito und konnte den Laden im Anschluss ohne V\u00f6llegef\u00fchl verlassen. Die Gr\u00f6\u00dfen sind also mehr als &#8222;bezwingbar&#8220; und so k\u00f6nnt ihr euch problemlos mit einem normalen Hunger durch beide Kategorien durchprobieren.<\/p>\n<p>Sowohl Taco, als auch Burrito gibt es in der &#8222;Supreme&#8220;-Variante (f\u00fcr 3,10 Euro (Taco) bzw. 5,10 Euro (Burrito)). Hierbei kommen Salat, Tomate und Sour Creme on Top. Wer lieber H\u00fchnchen, anstelle von Rind auf seinem mexikanischen Streetfood genie\u00dft, der w\u00e4hlt einfach den Chicken Taco oder eben Chicken Burrito (f\u00fcr 2,60 Euro bzw. 4,60 Euro) \u2013 ebenfalls erh\u00e4ltlich als Standard- und Supreme-Variante. Wem gar kein Fleisch zwischen die Kiefer kommt, kann alles auch vegetarisch oder vegan bestellen, wobei sich die veganen Varianten auf veganes H\u00e4nchengeschnetzeltes mit Salat, Cheddar, Sauce und Tomaten beschr\u00e4nken. Doch auch, wenn euch bei eurem Besuch so gar nicht nach Taco oder Burrito zu Mute ist, werdet ihr in der neuer\u00f6ffneten Taco Company f\u00fcndig. Neben der erw\u00e4hnten Tagessuppe und den \u00fcppig portionierten Salaten (&#8222;Gemischter Salat&#8220; f\u00fcr 4,80 Euro und &#8222;Grilled Chicken Salat&#8220; f\u00fcr 5,60 Euro), gibt es n\u00e4mlich auch noch &#8222;Chili con Carne&#8220; (Portion f\u00fcr 5,80 Euro) oder auch Quesadillas in den Varianten Veggi, Rind oder Chicken (ab 3,60 Euro).<\/p>\n<p>Im Getr\u00e4nkeregal findet sich Coca-Cola und Eizbach Cola, Proviant Limonade, Tegernseer Bier und Co. Beim Bezahlen an der Theke \u2013 ihr bezahlt direkt nach dem Bestellen \u2013 lachen einen au\u00dferdem frische (Bio-)Croissants (f\u00fcr 1,90 Euro) an und der Blick f\u00e4llt unweigerlich auf die \u00fcppige Kaffeemaschine im hinteren Tresenbereich, welche euch hochwertige Hei\u00dfgetr\u00e4nke und Kaffeespezialit\u00e4ten zubereitet (Espresso 1,90 Euro; Cappuccino ab 3,20 Euro; Ronnenfeldt Tee f\u00fcr 3,60 Euro; hei\u00dfe Bio-Schokolade f\u00fcr 3,80 Euro). Serviert werden die Tacos in bedrucktem Papier auf einem kleinen Tablett an euren Tischen. Je nach dem wie viele ihr bestellt, werden diese entweder einfach eingewickelt auf das Tablett gelegt, oder im entsprechenden Taco-Halter (siehe Fotos Diashow unten) platziert. Die Tacos sind mit drei bis vier Bissen weg und machen beim Reinbeissen eine kleine Sauerei beim Essen. Der reichlich on top gepackte Cheddar-K\u00e4se f\u00e4llt unweigerlich auf das Tablett, der Taco bricht beim ersten Biss relativ leicht und auch Salat und Tomate gehen eigene Wege. Schmecken tut&#8217;s trotzdem sehr gut. Haltet euch am besten das Wickelpapier drunter, dann k\u00f6nnt ihr das am Schluss einfach zusammenkn\u00fcllen. Das Fleisch schmeckt k\u00f6stlich und in Sachen Geschmack und F\u00fcllmenge gibt&#8217;s bei den kleinen mexikanischen Happen nix zu motzen. Gut gef\u00e4llt mir, dass man sich eben auch nur einen Taco bestellen kann, unter drei Euro los ist, und dennoch einen guten und so gesehen s\u00e4ttigenden Snack im Bauch hat. Ebenfalls im einer Zeitung nachgeahmten Papier eingewickelt, landete auch dieser bei uns auf dem Tisch. Da ich nicht so gerne scharf esse, blieb er frei von den auf den Tischen platzierten zus\u00e4tzlichen Saucen, welche das Nachsch\u00e4rfen nach eigenem Belieben erm\u00f6glichen, und es wurde direkt los gegessen. In Summe schmeckte mir pers\u00f6nlich der Burrito besser. L\u00e4sst er sich nicht nur &#8222;handlicher&#8220; verputzen, sondern macht auch mehr satt sowie weniger Chaos auf dem Tablett. Auch f\u00fcr to go ist er gut geeignet. Wir hatten au\u00dferdem beim Burrito beide mehr das Gef\u00fchl &#8222;etwas zu beissen&#8220; zu haben und wurden von einem Burrito reichlich satt. Der Burrito aus der Taco Company ist in meinen Augen jedenfalls einem guten Burrito ebenb\u00fcrtig und kann guten Gewissens als &#8222;authentischer Burrito&#8220; bezeichnet werden.\u00a0Positiv sind mir sowohl die Preise, als auch die Portionsgr\u00f6\u00dfen aufgefallen. Auch in Sachen Freundlichkeit vor Ort und Unterst\u00fctzung bei der Auswahl gibt&#8217;s nicht zu meckern. Gut w\u00fcrde mir noch gefallen, wenn es eine &#8222;Spezialit\u00e4t des Hauses&#8220; g\u00e4be, die dann auch wirklich nur in der Taco Company zu bekommen ist und f\u00fcr die ich immer wieder gerne komme. Sicherlich wird sich demn\u00e4chst auch neues auf der Karte tun und nach einiger Anlaufzeit des Ladens beispielsweise wechselndes&#8220;F\u00fcllgut&#8220; f\u00fcr Tacos und Burritos verf\u00fcgbar sein. Sch\u00f6n finde ich die Idee der wechselnden Tagessuppe sowie die vitaminreichen Salate direkt zum Mitnehmen. Mein Plan: F\u00fcr den Breakfast Wrap, ein M\u00fcsli und Croissant komme ich nochmals vorbei, sobald die Au\u00dfentemperatur ein Platznehmen auf der Terrasse \u2013 entlang der Stra\u00dfe (f\u00fcr ca. 18 Personen) \u2013 zul\u00e4sst. Ich bin gespannt. Schaut selbst vorbei und \u00fcberzeugt euch von Qualit\u00e4t und Geschmack. Empfehlen kann ich euch auf jeden Fall auch die Salate und das Chili con Carne, welches ich ebenfalls probiert habe. Fragt auch nach der gut gew\u00fcrzten Guacamole. Lecker!
