Der in 4. Generation gef\u00fchrte Waldgasthof vereint Hotel, Gastronomie und Biergarten. Je nach Jahreszeit und Wetterlage lockt schon vor dem Betreten des Hauses ein gro\u00dfz\u00fcgiger Gast- bzw. Biergarten mit Platz f\u00fcr bis zu 800 G\u00e4ste \u2013 50% Selbstbedienungsbereich inklusive. Doch in den kalten Wintermonaten ist uns nat\u00fcrlich mehr nach gem\u00fctlicher Wohlf\u00fchl-Atmosph\u00e4re, vereint mit w\u00e4rmender und zur Jahreszeit passender K\u00fcche. Das vereint der Waldgasthof Buchenhain gekonnt. Tretet ihr als G\u00e4ste in das Restaurant ein, steht ihr im kleinen Lobby-Bereich des Hotels samt Rezeption. Freundlich werdet ihr begr\u00fc\u00dft und bei Reservierung \u2013 stets und gerade am Wochenende zu empfehlen \u2013 direkt zum Tisch in einem der verschiedenen St\u00fcberl gebracht.\u00a0Insgesamt\u00a0f\u00fcnf verschiedene sind&#8217;s und sowohl im Nepumuk-St\u00fcberl, in der Ofen-, der Buchenhain-, der Antonius- oder auch der Bierstube sitzt ihr in gem\u00fctlichem Ambiente mit viel Flair und jeder Menge sehenswerten. Das gesamte Hotel (3 Sterne, 42 Zimmer, bayerisches Ambiente) n\u00e4mlich, ist mit liebevoll ausgew\u00e4hlten und mitunter antiken Dekorationsst\u00fccken verstehen. Durch die unterschiedlichen Ebenen und verwinkelten St\u00fcberl wurde gekonnt auf eine geschickte und zugleich einladenden Raumaufteilung mit stimmiger Akustik geachtet. Mir pers\u00f6nlich widerstrebt es sehr, wenn&#8217;s zugeht wie in der Bahnhofshalle beim Essen. Im Waldgasthof Buchenhain hingegen habt ihr selbst bei gef\u00fchlter Vollbesetzung immer euer ruhiges Platzerl f\u00fcr euch. Obwohl das Restaurant in einem Hotel liegt, wird es \u00fcberwiegend von externen G\u00e4sten besucht \u2013 auch zahlreiche Stammg\u00e4ste geh\u00f6ren zu den regelm\u00e4\u00dfigen Besuchern des Gasthofes. Das liegt mitunter sicherlich daran, dass h\u00f6chster Wert auf hochwertige K\u00fcche gelegt wird. Auf den Tellern landen nur frische, m\u00f6glichst regionale und stets eigens vom K\u00fcchenchef ausgew\u00e4hlte Zutaten. Warme K\u00fcche wird bis 21 Uhr angeboten, im Anschluss noch f\u00fcr eine weitere Stunde eine kleinere Karte. Zubereitet wird alles in feinster Handarbeit vom siebenk\u00f6pfigen K\u00fcchenteam. Dominierend sind bayerische Klassiker, wie Schweinebraten, bayerische Ente oder Gans, Wiener Schnitzel oder auch K\u00e4sspatzen. Doch auch Kreationen mit frischem Fisch sowie Vorspeisen wie Suppen, Salat mit Ziegenk\u00e4se, Carpaccio und Co. laden\u00a0zum Schlemmen ein. Die Standard-Speisekarte wechselt im Waldgasthof Buchenhain viertelj\u00e4hrlich bzw. je nach saisonalem Angebot. Wildgerichte, Steinpilze, Pfifferlinge, Tr\u00fcffel &#8211; je nach Verf\u00fcgbarkeit landen immer wieder neue K\u00f6stlichkeiten auf der Karte. T\u00e4glich neu zusammengestellt ist das ganztags angebotene Tagesmen\u00fc, welches preislich bei ca. 20 Euro liegt (Vorspeise, Hauptspeise und Dessert). Einmal, weil ich \u2013 wie \u00fcblich bei mir \u2013 bereits vorab die Speisekarte im Netz studierte, zum anderen, weil ich allgemein ein sehr gro\u00dfer Fan der bayerischen K\u00fcche bin. Was gibt&#8217;s sch\u00f6neres, als bei schlechtem Wetter und an verschneiten Wochenendabenden im Warmen zu sitzen und gutes Essen serviert zu bekommen &#8211; weniges, au\u00dfer vielleicht den Verdauungsschlaf danach. Nun gut. Nach einer knappen halben Stunde Fahrt landeten meine Begleitung und ich in dem etwas versteckt und dennoch direkt an der S-Bahnstation Buchenhain gelegenem Waldgasthof. Der Hof macht seinem Namen alle Ehre. Gem\u00fctlich, an einem gro\u00dfen runden Tisch und mit einem guten Blick \u00fcber den Raum. Die Karten wurden uns gebracht und wir wurden in diesem Zuge sofort nach unseren Getr\u00e4nkew\u00fcnschen gefragt. Der Service ist freundlich und auf zack. Lang hat&#8217;s nicht gedauert, da kamen Bier, Saftschorle sowie ein Glas Wei\u00dfwein und auch der kleine Gru\u00df aus der K\u00fcche zu uns an den Tisch &#8211; da gab&#8217;s frisches Brot (von der B\u00e4ckerei Gattinger aus M\u00fcnchen) mit hausgemachtem Kr\u00e4uterquark im Serviersch\u00e4lchen. Im Anschluss ging&#8217;s an die Auswahl der Speisen. Meine Begleitung startete mit einer Festtagssuppe \u201eBuchenhain\u201c mit Grie\u00dfkl\u00f6\u00dfchen, Bratnockerl und Pfannkuchenstreifen (f\u00fcr 5,50 Euro), w\u00e4hrend mich der Feldsalat mit Feigen und gratiniertem Ziegenk\u00e4se (f\u00fcr 12,90 Euro) anlachte. Bei Ziegenk\u00e4se auf der Karte, kann ich selten widerstehen. Wie sich herausstellte eine gute Wahl, den der K\u00e4se war super, sowohl in Sachen Zubereitungsart als auch Qualit\u00e4t. Nat\u00fcrlich hab ich auch beim Supperl mit geschl\u00fcrft.\u00a0So hat die Br\u00fche sehr k\u00f6stlich geschmeckt,\u00a0vom Grie\u00dfnockerl h\u00e4tt ich mir\u00a0glatt noch ein zweites gew\u00fcnscht. (Jammern auf hohem Niveau: Die Gem\u00fcsestreifen in der Br\u00fche waren zu lang f\u00fcr den L\u00f6ffel und es blieb nur abbei\u00dfen und in die Suppe fallen lassen, einzuzeln oder voll schlenzen&#8230;). Die Vorspeisen erf\u00fcllten schon mal voll und ganz unsere Erwartungen. Als Hauptgericht gab&#8217;s eine grandiose Viertel Bauerngans aus dem Rohr mit Apfelblaukraut, zwei kleinen Kartoffelkn\u00f6deln und Karamell-Kastanien (f\u00fcr 22 Euro). F\u00fcr mich ein Merlanfilet auf Tagliatelle mit Pilzen (f\u00fcr 19,50 Euro). Der Fisch war toll mit zartem wei\u00dfen Fleisch und weichem Biss. Ich pers\u00f6nlich mag auch die Kombination von Pasta und Fisch sehr gerne.\u00a0Die Qualit\u00e4t der Gans war 1A und verglichen mit anderen bayerischen Restaurants, gibt&#8217;s hier auf jeden Fall noch ein paar Pluspunkte f\u00fcr den extra guten Geschmack on Top. So war selbst das Blaukraut mit den Apfelscheiben als Topping sehr\u00a0fein zubereitet und nicht zu zimtig oder s\u00fc\u00df, wie&#8217;s oft der Fall ist. Die karamellisierten Esskastanien als Gans-Beilage gefielen mir in erster Linie, weil man&#8217;s nicht allzuoft sieht bei Gefl\u00fcgel-Gerichten und hier eben auch nochmal das gewisse Extra auf der Karte betont wird.. Die Jus\u00a0in welcher die Ente lag war sch\u00f6n s\u00e4mig \u2013 &#8222;schlonzig&#8220; wie man sagt \u2013 und nicht zu fettig, da das ja in der Regel schon die Gans \u00fcbernimmt.\u00a0W\u00fcrde ich nach Verbesserungsvorschl\u00e4gen gefragt werden, w\u00fcrde ich wohl die Nudeln etwas weicher kochen, das Gem\u00fcse in der Suppe etwas k\u00fcrzen und den G\u00e4sten zum Brotkorb zu Beginn\u00a0etwas frische Butter servieren. Ansonsten gab&#8217;s absolut nichts auszusetzen. Probieren&#8220; eine kleine Portion Wiener Schnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln samt Zwiebeln und Speck. Ich gebe zu, ich war schon satt, aber was mit &#8222;Wiener&#8220; anf\u00e4ngt und mit &#8222;Schnitzel&#8220; endet, das muss von mir einfach aufgegessen werden. Die Pr\u00e4sentation: Circa drei bis vier Millimeter d\u00fcnn geklopftes Kalbsfleisch, goldgelbe Panierung und sehr feine und r\u00f6sche Bratkartoffeln. Daumen hoch! Last but not least haben wir uns noch einen Kaiserschmarrn geteilt \u2013 weil Zucker hat ja bekanntlich einen eigenen Magen. Ein tolles Dessert, dass sich auch ideal f\u00fcr Fans s\u00fc\u00dfer Hauptspeisen eignet und bei eurer &#8222;Satt-Bilanz&#8220; unbedingt mit einbezogen werden sollte. Er war gezupft (nicht geschnitten), karamellisiert mit frischen Fr\u00fcchten und Apfelmus sowie appetitlich angerichtet.\u00a0Hoch die Daumen auf eine neues.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"font-size: 15px; margin-bottom: -0px;\"><b>Veranstaltungen, Events und Co.<\/b><\/h4>\n<p>Nat\u00fcrlich gibt&#8217;s noch einiges mehr zu dem einladenden Gasthof zu erz\u00e4hlen.
