Schon direkt nach dem Eintreten in das mit gut 200 Sitzpl\u00e4tzen ausgestattete und vor der Er\u00f6ffnung aufw\u00e4ndig umgestaltete Restaurant d\u00fcrft ihr staunen,\u00a0denn ihr steht direkt vor dem meterhohen mit edelsten Fleischst\u00fccken gef\u00fcllten Reifeschrank. Austern, Hummer, Meeresfr\u00fcchte, Jakobsmuscheln, Jumbo-Tiger-Garnelen und Kaviar in Top-Qualit\u00e4t sind auf der Karte zu finden. Die Raw Bar \u00fcberzeugt au\u00dferdem mit einem klassischen, typisch amerikanischen Barkonzept: kalifornische Rotweine (im Restaurant serviert), rauchiger Whiskey und authentischer Bourbon erg\u00e4nzen das Seafood und das edle Fleisch.<\/p>\n<p>Im Restaurant liegt der Schwerpunkt auf besten Steaks, wobei sich das &#8222;George Prime Steak&#8220; ausschlie\u00dflich auf erstklassiges Rindfleisch, welches auf wenigen ausgew\u00e4hlten Farmen im mittleren Westen der USA gez\u00fcchtet wird, spezialisiert. &#8222;Prime&#8220; ist im \u00dcbrigen die h\u00f6chste vergebene Auszeichnung f\u00fcr in den USA produziertes Rindfleisch \u2013 nur 2-3 % davon werden als &#8222;USDA Prime&#8220; eingestuft \u2013 aus diesen w\u00e4hlt das &#8222;George Prime Steak&#8220; sein &#8222;Black Angus USDA Prime&#8220;-Rindfleisch aus. Dabei kommt das Fleisch von Rindern aus Freilandhaltung, welche mit maisbasiertem Futter hormon- und antibiotikafrei gez\u00fcchtet werden. Das &#8222;George Prime Steak&#8220; lebt in meinen Augen nicht nur von der absoluten Spitzen-Qualit\u00e4t auf den Tellern, sondern auch von dem tollen und rundum aufmerksamen Service, dem ansprechenden Ambiente und somit vollumf\u00e4nglich stimmigen Konzept. Das f\u00e4ngt vom Eintreten in das Steak-Restaurant samt herzlicher Begr\u00fc\u00dfung an, geht weiter mit der Aufmerksamkeit und dem Know-how des Services an eurem Tisch und zieht sich durch, bis zu den ersten Bissen der feinen und appetitlich angerichteten Vor-, Haupt- und Nachspeisen.<\/p>\n<p>F\u00fcr meine Begleitung und mich gab es als Start in den Abend klassischem Ruinart Ros\u00e9 Champagner als Aperitif, gefolgt von Dreierlei verschiedenen Vorspeisen, welche wir uns von der erw\u00e4hnten George Prime Restaurant-Karte sowie von der extra erhaltenen Raw Bar Seafood-Karte zusammenstellten. \u00dcbrigens auch meine Empfehlung an euch: probiert euch unbedingt durch die verschiedenen Vorspeisen und lasst weder Fisch, Tatar noch hausgemachte Pasta au\u00dfen vor.<\/p>\n<p>So gab es f\u00fcr und drei exzellente Kreationen und wir genossen\u00a0&#8222;gek\u00fchlten Black Tiger Riesengarnelen-Cocktail mit hausgemachter Meerrettich-Cocktailsauce&#8220;, &#8222;handgemachte Hummer-Mascarpone Agnolotti mit ger\u00f6steter Haselnuss-Buttersauce und Dressing vom 12 Jahre altem Balsamico&#8220; sowie &#8222;Hamachi &#8211; japanische Gelbschwanzmakrele&#8220;. Das Highlight: Das Fleisch wird bei euch am Tisch auf einem Beistellwagen geschnitten und angerichtet. Die Beilagen sowie euer Gem\u00fcse w\u00e4hlt ihr frei von der Karte aus, bei uns fiel die Auswahl auf handgeschnittene Pommes mit Maldon Salz, Idaho Kartoffel im neuen Stil (mein Favorit bei den Beilagen), Rahmspinat au Gratin (\u00fcberbackener Spinat) und sautierten Broccoli mit schwarzem Knoblauch und gehackten Pinienkernen.<\/p>\n<p>Zum Fleisch samt Beilage genossen wir jeweils ein Glas kalifornischen Wei\u00df- und Rotwein \u2013 einen Peter Franus Sauvignon Blanc 2019 aus Napa Valley sowie einen 2018er <span class=\"vintage\">Earthquake Zinfandel\u00a0<\/span>aus Lodi\/Kalifornien. Der Sauvignon Blanc mit frischer und strohgelber Farbe im Glas bietet Aromen von Zitronengras, Limettenzeste, Honigtau, Pfirsich und Basilikum und entfaltet sich im Mund zu einem lebhaften und erfrischen Abgang. Mein Favorit war der Zinfandel, welcher mit seiner dunkelroten Farbe, seinen leichten Noten nach Karamell und etwas Vanille ganz wunderbar mit dem Fleisch harmonierte.
