{"id":6928,"date":"2014-07-06T21:00:20","date_gmt":"2014-07-06T19:00:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/essengehenistaucheinhobby.de\/?p=6928"},"modified":"2017-07-16T20:56:34","modified_gmt":"2017-07-16T18:56:34","slug":"peony-lounge-schwabing-thailaendischvietnamesisch","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/biancas-blog.de\/en\/alle\/peony-lounge-schwabing-thailaendischvietnamesisch\/","title":{"rendered":"PEONY LOUNGE \u2013 Schwabing \u2013 Thai\/Vietnamese"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>+ + + Advertisement + + +<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Die Peony Lounge ist ein asiatische Restaurant, spezialisiert auf die vietnamesische und thail\u00e4ndische K\u00fcche in M\u00fcnchen Schwabing und wir haben uns total Verfahren auf dem Weg dort hin . \ud83d\ude42 Das Restaurant hat erst seit sechs Monaten ge\u00f6ffnet und ich reservierte vorab telefonisch f\u00fcr 19:00 Uhr einen Tisch, musste diesen aber nochmals umbuchen, weil wir zeitlich nicht hinkamen, was kein Problem darstellte und freundlich von der Bedienung zur Kenntnis genommen wurde. Als wir dann endlich ankamen und in das recht schicke, sehr angenehm gestaltete &#8211; und fast leere &#8211; Restaurant eintraten, waren wir recht angenehm \u00fcberrascht vom Ambiente und der Innenausstattung &#8211; von au\u00dfen l\u00e4dt die Lage nicht wirklich ein.Eine sehr freundliche Bedienung empfing uns direkt am Eingangsbereich und ich gab meinen Namen an und meine Reservierung. Wir wurden an einen Speisetisch im vorderen Bereich platziert, leer waren von den ca. 10-12 Tischen im Lokal aber alle bis auf zwei. Als wir gingen waren immer noch weit mehr als dir H\u00e4lfte der Tische frei.<\/p>\n<div style=\"margin: 0 1em 1em 0; float: left; display: block; width: 340px; height: 300px;\"><script type=\"text\/javascript\"><!-- google_ad_client = \"ca-pub-1770258545384845\"; \/* 336 x 280 Best Performer *\/ google_ad_slot = \"6442916218\"; google_ad_width = 336; google_ad_height = 280; \/\/-->\n<\/script><br \/>\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\" src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/show_ads.js\">\n<\/script><\/div>\n<p>Direkt nach dem Platznehmen wurden uns die in einem gelben Ledereinband gebundenen Speisekarten hingelegt und wir w\u00e4hlten Getr\u00e4nke und Speisen. Zum Trinken w\u00e4hlten wir zwei Gl\u00e4ser 0,2l grauer Burgunder f\u00fcr 5,50\u20ac\/Glas und eine Flasche Wasser (0,3l\/2,80\u20ac). Zum Essen brauchten wir eine Weile. F\u00fcr Vegetarier ist die Karte nur mittelm\u00e4\u00dfig zufriedenstellend und da ich keine Lust auf stinknormalen Eierreis oder Nudeln mit Gem\u00fcse harte entschied ich mich f\u00fcr &#8222;mi xao tom&#8220; &#8211; Eiernudeln mit Black Tiger-Garnelen, Gem\u00fcse und Scampi und Fr\u00fchlingszwiebeln f\u00fcr knackige 18,50\u20ac. \u00a0Meine Begleitung \u00fcberlegte auch ein wenig l\u00e4nger hin und her, entschied sich dann aber f\u00fcr &#8222;geang kiew wan pak&#8220; (ebenfalls vegetarisch) &#8211; sprich thail\u00e4ndisches Gem\u00fcse in gr\u00fcner Curry-Kokosnussmilchso\u00dfe (scharf) f\u00fcr 13,90\u20ac. Ich probierte das Gericht auch &#8211; und ja: scharf! \ud83d\ude42 Wir entschieden uns au\u00dferdem vorab f\u00fcr zwei Vorspeisen. Ich w\u00e4hlte &#8222;cha gio chay&#8220; &#8211;\u00a0die\u00a0gebackenen, vegetarischein Fr\u00fchlingsrollen f\u00fcr 5,50\u20ac und &#8222;tom bao bot&#8220; &#8211; gebackene Black Tiger-Garnelen f\u00fcr 7,50\u20ac. Die Vorspeisen wurden uns sehr schnell serviert und wir mussten nach der Bestellung dieser nicht lange warten. Die vegetarischen Fr\u00fchlingsrollen waren zwei St\u00fcck und sehr k\u00f6stlich, gerade in Verbindung mit der in einem Sch\u00e4lchen servierten, etwas s\u00fc\u00dfen So\u00dfe. Die Garnelen meiner Begleitung waren eher eine kleine Entt\u00e4uschung &#8211; etwas zu viel Panade und nichts Besonderes. Zwar geschmacklich in Ordnung, aber keine 7,50\u20ac wert. Die leeren Teller wurden \u00a0nach dem Vorpseisen-Verzehr sehr schnell abserviert\u00a0und neues Besteck f\u00fcr die Hauptspeise gebracht. Wir bestellten diese gleichzeitig mit den Vorspeisen, mussten dann aber, obwohl das Restaurant wie erw\u00e4hnt nicht mal halb besetzt war relativ lange auf die Hauptspeisen warten. Wir ratschten zwar gerade nett, dennoch kam uns die Wartezeit \u00fcberdurchschnittlich lang vor.<\/p>\n<p>Meine Hauptspeise, die Eiernudeln mit Garnelen, war vorz\u00fcglich. Zwar preislich nicht vorz\u00fcglich, aber f\u00fcr die Menge und die gelieferte Qualit\u00e4t wirklich in Ordnung. Ich wurde satt, mein Gem\u00fcse war super, die Garnelen musste ich zwar noch selbst rauspulen, aber auch diese waren geschmacklich k\u00f6stlich und wie erwartet auch gro\u00df. \ud83d\ude42 Auch die Hauptspeise meiner Begleitung erf\u00fcllte unsere Erwartungen. Mir w\u00e4re es zwar zu scharf gewesen, aber der Hinweis zur Sch\u00e4rfe lies sich der Speisekarte entnehmen. Der Reis war duftig und gut, die So\u00dfe gen\u00fcgend und trotz Sch\u00e4rfe noch genie\u00dfbar. Uns wurde sofort als das Reissch\u00e4lchen leer war neuer Reis angeboten. Besonders hervorheben m\u00f6chte ich, dass ich das leere Reissch\u00e4lchen f\u00fcr die Garnelenschw\u00e4nze verwendete und die asiatische Kellnerin dieses erst entfernte, als sie sah, dass die Garnelen in meinem Hauptgericht alle fertig rausgepult waren. Das fand ich toll. \ud83d\ude42 Wir waren so gesehen im Gro\u00dfen und Ganzen recht zufrieden mit unserem Essen und w\u00fcrden auch wieder kommen. Gelegen ist das Restaurant nicht so Bombe. Mit den \u00f6ffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln empfiehlt sich eine Anfahrt \u00fcber den Bonner Platz mit der U-Bahn und einem anschlie\u00dfenden kurzen Fu\u00dfmarsch. Wenn ihr mit dem Auto anfahrt stellt das Parken kein gro\u00dfes Problem da.<\/p>\n<p>Unsere Kellnerin war wie erw\u00e4hnt ausgesprochen freundlich. Das Restaurant \u00fcberzeugt definitiv im Service und auch in der Innenausstattung. Dunkelbraun gepolstere Lederb\u00e4nke, Tische mit wei\u00dfen Tischt\u00fcchern, eine dunkelbraune Strukturtapete mit Glitzer, welche sehr gut in das eher dunkel gehaltene und dezent beleuchtete Restaurant passt. Fliesenb\u00f6den, eine freundlich wirkende, ebenfalls dezent beleuchtete Bar im hinteren Restaurantbereich, Rosen auf den Tischen, dunkle St\u00fchle, ein Eckchen im Eingangsbereich mit einer Statue, Blumen und Kerzen &#8211; \u00e4hnich einem kleinen Tempel und insgesamt ganz klar ein Ambiente zum Wohlf\u00fchlen und eine tolle Atmosph\u00e4re zum Sitzen, Essen, Wohlf\u00fchlen und runterkommen.<\/p>\n<p>Wenn Euch die Gerichte, welche ich und meine Begleitung bestellten nicht zusagen, k\u00f6nnt ihr auch auf der <a title=\"Menu\" href=\"http:\/\/www.peony-lounge.de\/mediapool\/147\/1470116\/data\/Speisekarte.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Standardspeisekarte<\/a> aus diversen anderen Gerichten Eure Auswahl treffen. So stehen beispielsweise zahlreiche, unterschiedliche Suppen zwischne 5,90\u20ac und 7,50\u20ac, Salate zwischen 7,50\u20ac und 8,90\u20ac, Vorspeisen zwischen 5,50\u20ac und 11,90\u20ac, Hauptgerichte\/Wokgerichte zwischen 14,90\u20ac und 18,50\u20ac, bzw. ein Gericht f\u00fcr 22,50\u20ac f\u00fcr zwei Personenen, welches drei verschiedene Currysorten enth\u00e4lt zur Verf\u00fcgung. Au\u00dferdem gibt es Spezialmen\u00fcs, welche ebenfalls f\u00fcr zwei Personen ausgelegt sind und mit 31,50\u20ac oder 33,50\u20ac preislich nicht ganz g\u00fcnstig sind. Desserts gibts in der Peony Lounge nat\u00fcrlich auch. Diese sind f\u00fcr 4,90\u20ac bis rauf zu 7,50\u20ac zu haben. (z.B. gebackene Bananen mit Kokosflocken, Mango, Cr\u00e9me Brulee,etc.).<\/p>\n<p>Wir bezahlten\u00a062\u20ac inkl. Trinkgeld. Kein g\u00fcnstiger Abend, aber ein sch\u00f6ner mit k\u00f6stlichem Essen in tollem Ambiente. Solltet ihr also auf der Suche nach einem gutem Thai-\/Asiarestaurant sein, seid ihr hier sicherlich nicht falsch. Au\u00dfen gibt\u00b4s auch noch f\u00fcr die sommerlichen Abende Sitzm\u00f6glichkeiten. Eine <a title=\"Lunch menu\" href=\"http:\/\/www.peony-lounge.de\/mediapool\/147\/1470116\/data\/Mittagskarte.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lunch menu<\/a> gibt es auch, sprich Hauptgerichte zwischen 7,50\u20ac und 10,90\u20ac, was meiner meinung nach f\u00fcr asiatische und thail\u00e4ndische K\u00fcche zum Mittagstisch nicht ganz preiswert aber noch im Rahmen ist. Ge\u00f6ffnet ist das Restaurant von Montag bis Freitag von 11:30 Uhr bis 14:30 Uhr (hier gilt die Mittagskarte) und von Montags bis Sonntags noch von 18:00 Uhr bis 23:30 Uhr. Warme K\u00fcche gibts bis 23:00 Uhr. Ihr k\u00f6nnt also sehr sp\u00e4t noch hungrig vorbei schauen und gutes asiatisches Essen genie\u00dfen. Viel Spa\u00df dabei. Bei Abholung der Speisen gibt es 10% Preisnachlass.<\/p>\n<p><strong>I&#039;ll be back:\u00a0<\/strong>Grunds\u00e4tzlich ja.
