The tables are quite large, and tables for two are only available at the back, accessible by walking through the large front area with its long, wide tables. This rear section was added a few years ago and has a bit of a conservatory feel. Overall, the Hufnagel has a very cozy atmosphere in every seating area \u2013 provided you appreciate Bavarian flair.<br \/>\n<script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<!-- Responsive Flie\u00dftext --><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-1770258545384845\" data-ad-slot=\"7477610216\" data-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><br \/>\nThere are also additional seats upstairs. Reservations aren&#039;t usually necessary at Hufnagel, except perhaps on weekends when they offer brunch. (Sunday brunch is quite nice \u2013 year-round between 10 am and 2 pm. Nothing groundbreaking or particularly unusual on the buffet, but worth a visit.) Brunch is free for children under 6 and costs \u20ac17 per person, which is a bit steep. Here you&#039;ll find a <a title=\"Overview\" href=\"http:\/\/www.der-hufnagel.de\/index.php\/speisen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Overview<\/a> about all kinds of dishes and foods.<\/p>\n<p>I recently dined at Hufnagel again in the evening and opted for the salad with goat cheese (three small pieces of round goat cheese \u2013 a generous portion) and bread, which I&#039;m already familiar with. My companion had roast beef with onions and fried potatoes \u2013 also quite enjoyable. The food at Hufnagel has never once been disappointing or given cause for complaint. It offers &quot;perfectly normal&quot; Bavarian\/German cuisine and is always served in ample portions. Together, we paid \u20ac41 for two main courses and three drinks (0.5 liters each), which is still reasonable. Hufnagel shouldn&#039;t get any more expensive. I&#039;d also like to mention that Hufnagel provides a small glass of soup with every food order \u2013 a nice little complimentary touch \u2013 very thoughtful.<\/p>\n<p>It&#039;s also lovely to sit in the Hufnagel&#039;s small, somewhat hidden beer garden in the summer sunshine and enjoy a delicious (definitely try it!) Kaiserschmarrn with applesauce (\u20ac8.80) \u2013 or, if that&#039;s not your thing, a Palatschinken (crepe), Apfelkiachal (apple fritters), or Dampfnudel (steamed dumplings) (averaging \u20ac6 each). The menu offers a well-balanced selection of main courses \u2013 from Sp\u00e4tzle\/dumplings with gravy, to roast beef with crackling, pork, or onions, to fish, ham and noodles, and vegetarian Flammkuchen (tarte flamb\u00e9e). Daily changing business lunch specials are also available for \u20ac6.80 and \u20ac8.80.<\/p>\n<p>The staff is friendly and efficient. We never had to wait long for our food or drinks. They&#039;re always happy to chat if they have the time and you&#039;re in the mood. Hufnagel accepts card payments \u2013 even if you just want to take away two slices of their delicious cakes.
