As the only REWE City supermarket in Munich, the REWE City at the main train station offers such a wide range of kosher food. Two entire shelves are dedicated to kosher products. From various wines (currently 11 different red and white wines), sauces, canned goods, and sweets, to newly available Haribo bags (€2.69 each) in five different varieties, cookies and cakes (from €4.99) in boxes, to soups and soup croutons (from €4.79), snacks (from €1.49), and even falafel mixes (€4.49), everything is available. Anyone who wants to eat kosher or simply wants to try it out can find a great selection at the REWE City at the main train station. Wines start at just under €7 and go up to around €18. The well-known and very popular „Carmel King David“ wine from Israel – a sweet red wine – (for just under €10) is also on the shelf.

According to Jewish law, many foodstuffs, as well as dishes and meals served at the table, must be produced, processed, and prepared according to specific regulations and in a particular way. The production of kosher food is carried out under careful rabbinical supervision. Only when all the prescribed rules are followed is a dish, a drink, or a meal considered "kosher." Simply put, this means that the food used is "pure" and suitable for consumption. Kosher is not just for Jews. Consuming kosher food is a way of eating for everyone.
