Since June 2016, I've been a food columnist for the daily newspaper tz and the Münchner Merkur. There, I write weekly online about new restaurant recommendations, my favorite restaurants in the city, great places to eat in the Munich area, and much more. For the very first episode of "The Great Chef Battle," I was a judge in September 2016 and, together with my fellow judge, tested a three-course meal. Four cities competed, each represented by a professional chef, and had to prove themselves in the kitchen – on the first day without the help of the chefs, and on the second day, the chefs also lent a hand. In May 2016, I was once again a judge for "Mein Lokal, Dein Lokal Spezial" (My Restaurant, Your Restaurant Special), searching for the Franconian Schäufele (pork shoulder) in Nuremberg with my fellow judge. We visited three different restaurants and a food truck to test the dishes.

Reviews of the "My Favorite Italian" restaurants Read. Due to the close business relationship and its positive outcome, the regular customers and newsletter subscribers of the ten fantastic Italian restaurants had the opportunity to get to know me better. My website, "Bianca's Blog," and the accompanying series of restaurant reviews were introduced in the newsletter.
