It begins with a glass of sparkling Prosecco as an aperitif, followed by a beautifully presented appetizer served by a friendly waitress. Enjoy a fine selection of Tuscan cured meats and cheeses, bruschetta, antipasti vegetables, olives, and honey. An excellent start to the meal that will leave you wanting more.
For your main course, you have complete freedom of choice and can spontaneously select one of six delicious pasta dishes. The pasta is freshly prepared for you at the Rustikeria. The selection includes, among others, Pappardelle al Cinghiale with a delicately seasoned wild boar ragù; Maccheroni Pistoiesi al Ragù Bianco di Chianina with a light beef ragù; Lasagne di Mamma Elena con Ragù Casereccio; Pasta con Salsa di Cipolla Bianca al Vin Santo, Gorgonzola e Briciole Croccanti with a white wine and onion sauce; Pici Cacio & Verdura Croccante with Pecorino and crisp vegetables; and homemade Gnocchi Pomarola & Burrata with tomato sauce and creamy burrata. You decide which combination appeals to you most. The choice isn't easy when everything sounds so delicious, is it? Depending on your choice, you will be served a glass of open red or white wine from the Italian wine list with your main course. You are free to choose from this open wine list.
Which pasta will you choose?
After a delicious starter and a short break, my companion and I opted for linguine with shrimp, stracciatella cheese, cherry tomatoes, and lemon zest, as well as pasta al ragu biancho di Chianina, a ragu made with white Tuscan Chianina beef. We enjoyed a very well-balanced Chianti Classico Riserva (with the ragu) and a smooth Belvento Vermentino (with the linguine). For wine recommendations, depending on your pasta choice, feel free to ask the friendly service team or your host, Massimo Chiti, for advice.
To round off your relaxing evening, enjoy a homemade panna cotta served in a glass. Choose between a chocolate topping or fresh, fruity wild berries – with an optional espresso. The exquisite panna cotta at Rustikeria has personally inspired me to choose traditional Italian dishes more often when dining out – simply delicious. Look forward to a sweet yet light dessert that perfectly complements both your meal and your enjoyable evening.

What we particularly enjoyed was the freedom to choose both the pasta dish and the glass of wine by the glass, allowing us to personalize our meal.
