The Italian Michelin-starred restaurant „Acquarello“
Few restaurants in Munich are as renowned among gourmets as Mario Gamba's Michelin-starred restaurant, "Acquarello." Opened in 1994 and awarded a Michelin star since 2000, this welcoming and elegant establishment impresses with its Italian-Mediterranean cuisine, combined with a subtle French touch. The focus is always on the absolute highest quality ingredients, united in refined creations and paired with the finest Italian wines. Every dish, every plate, and every creation "composed" by Mario Gamba delights anew and is a true poem for lovers of exquisite gourmet cuisine.

The menu will be served to you and your companion in six courses as an exclusive Mastercard menu. It begins with a changing Greetings from the kitchen, During our visit, we were served a small salad of apples and chicory, arranged on a spoon, along with a small portion of chervil cream soup. first gear the surprise menu is a Carpaccio of wild-caught red prawns from Mazar del Vallo – not without reason the cover image of my post. A true poem and pure pleasure on the palate. Zucchini blossoms baked in beer batter on mozzarella cream is Gear number two. The third gear are incredibly delicious Tortelli filled with braised beef ragout, root vegetables, and celery foam – incidentally, my companion's favorite. The fifth course may change depending on your booking, as the fish is purchased by Mario Gamba based on availability – only the best quality is good enough. Look forward to marinated rhubarb and strawberries with kefir ice cream. A wonderful interplay of sweet fruit and light acidity, and a successful finish.
