Finest Spirits Festival at the MVG Museum in Munich | February 19-21, 2016 – I was at the Finest Spirit Festival today at the MVG Museum in Munich. Various spirits exhibitors are represented in the museum halls at Ständlerstraße 20. This year – by the way – the 11th year in a row Finest Spirits has dedicated itself to the theme of "vodka." The festival features a diverse range of newcomers to the industry, established and proven distilleries, as well as creative new products. Of course, the classics are also represented. All of this is housed in one hall, together with experts from around the world who are happy to answer any questions.
The focus here is on discovering new things, tasting them, and taking them home as desired, as well as getting answers to all your questions about vodka, spirits, and related topics. Casual conversation at the bar or stand, and perhaps even finding your new favorite spirit, are also part of the experience.
I saw, tried, and learned a lot, and I can only recommend that you come by tomorrow and/or the day after. Tomorrow (Saturday, February 20, 2016) is from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and the day after tomorrow (Sunday, February 21, 2016) from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM open.
The A day ticket costs €20., Both events cost €35 to enter for the remaining days. Here you will find a Overview of exhibitors. You can sample the food for free at all the stands. A festival map is also available.
Here are my impressions from today's press tour. It will certainly be a bit busier on weekends and during regular opening hours.
