This is where the winery's grapes grow and thrive.

Advance notice: Wine evening including a multi-course meal at the Westend Factory – The best steaks on your plate, fantastic dishes served sharing-style in the center of the table, and relaxed hours spent enjoying excellent wines – that's what the Westend Factory has stood for since my first visit in October 2016, shortly after its reopening. Much has changed since then, and exciting events with delicious menus and accompanying themes are held regularly. From butcher and beer nights to wine evenings with paired menus, there's something for everyone. And just such an event will take place again on July 6th, starting at 6:00 pm at the Westend Factory.

The Westend Factory Wine Evening

On Friday, July 6th, a wonderful four-course sharing menu with wine pairings awaits you. For €69 per person, you can enjoy a delightful culinary experience between 6:00 pm and 10:00 pm. The wines served will come from the Heinrich Groh winery in Bechtheim, a fourth-generation family business producing varietal and fruity wines. Bechtheim is one of the largest winegrowing communities in Rheinhessen, combining modern winemaking technology with traditional methods. The winery stores up to 50,000 liters of wine in wooden barrels on its estate. On Friday evening, you can savor a selection of these wines, perfectly complementing the carefully curated menu. The entire event will be hosted by the estate's winemaker, Heinrich Groh himself. The menu remains a surprise, but will undoubtedly feature meat and/or fish dishes and can be adapted for vegetarians if needed.

Interesting facts about the Westen Factory

As mentioned, the Westend Factory – incidentally, just a stone's throw from the "Heimeranplatz" train station – stands for top-notch steak and fish. The Westend Factory works exclusively with top-quality suppliers and, consequently, products. Good quality, a small but well-structured menu with something for everyone, and transparency for us as guests are a given. It's also great that everything ordered is placed in the center of the table – hence the "sharing menu" on the evening of July 6th, inspired by the restaurant's concept. Anyone who secures a spot (reservations are essential; see number below!) is guaranteed a fantastic evening.
