What can you expect during a visit to Ristorante Martinelli? – For over ten years, Ristorante Martinelli has been synonymous with refined gourmet cuisine. Located in Bogenhausen, you'll find a comfortably chic ambiance and the warm hospitality of hostess Elena Martinelli, immediately apparent upon arrival. As the restaurant's sommelier, she will not only provide attentive and expert service throughout your visit but also select exceptional wines to complement your chosen menu. The wine list features a wide array of wines, primarily Italian, but also Austrian and German. In the kitchen, Elena's husband, co-owner, and top chef Luca oversees the culinary creations. He uses only the highest quality, preferably regional and always seasonal ingredients.

On your plate, you'll find creative and authentic Italian specialties. To start, there's homemade bread, Parma or San Daniele ham, sliced with the fiery red Berkel slicer. Look forward to creations such as monkfish with watermelon and beurre blanc, homemade tagliolini with tartufo blanco, Wagyu beef tartare with egg yolk and porcini mushrooms, and tarte tatin with vanilla ice cream and strawberry salad.
Guests can choose from four, five, or six-course menus; alternatively, surprise menus created by Luca are also available. Vegetarian guests are also warmly welcomed at Ristorante Martinelli and will be well looked after and treated to delicious food.

What I particularly appreciate here is the personal and warm service at the table and the beautifully presented dishes, each one surprising and delightful in its own unique way. In my opinion, you'll eat at Ristorante Martinelli better than at almost any other Italian restaurant in Munich. Don't miss the wine pairing – Elena will gladly share an anecdote or two about each wine (and its estate) at your table. If you visit on a warmer day, you can also enjoy a secluded and cozy terrace.

Are you curious about the menu? – The meal began with a greeting from the kitchen, in the form of a „"Creamy pumpkin soup with Parmesan cream"“, followed by „"Tuna, coconut foam, exotic fruits and red onion sorbet"“. Afterwards there was a „"Artichoke Panna Cotta with Vegetable Sorbet"“, a truly delicious dish „"Wagyu beef tartare with porcini mushrooms"“, intensely flavorful „"Ravioli with monkfish filling"“, „"Monkfish with watermelon"“ and finally, „"Tarte Tatin with vanilla ice cream"“.We also enjoyed a glass of wine with some of the courses; my favorites were the "Arlus" Romagna Albana DOCG from Emilia-Romagna, Faenza, and the Kolbenhof Gewürztraminer from the South Tyrolean winery J. Hofstätter. Depending on the time of year you book your meal, you can expect a different menu, adapted to the season and the availability of ingredients.
