So it's only natural that I should also write about this fantastic book featuring some of the best food trucks, or rather, "creative kitchens on wheels." I saw the book in a bookstore a while ago and couldn't resist. I was thrilled after just a quick flip through it. Luckily, I've already had the opportunity to meet several of the street food vendors featured in the book, work with them, and share my experiences. For example, I'm a huge fan of the delicious donuts from... Donut Factory, already raffled off Hot dogs from the Isardogs and bit into one or two sandwiches from RibWich and Co. Even gluten- and lactose-free food is available at the popular street food trucks, such as at the "intolerant Isi" and her small truck.
The book "Food Trucks: Creative Kitchens on Wheels" is in Published in March 2015 This book introduces a wide variety of street food vendors and their food trucks. You can usually find them at street food events (for example, in Munich at events on Praterinsel, at the Backstage venue, the Hall of Taste, trade fairs like "eat & Style" or "Food & Life," etc.) and sample their delicious dishes. To get an overview of what each food truck offers and what you might like, you should browse through this great book beforehand.

On over 170 pages And with numerous color photographs of each truck, it clearly and creatively summarizes what the respective food trucks offer, who exactly is behind them, how the ideas originated, and much more. In essence, the book provides an ideal summary for a „look behind the scenes“ of the food truckers. In the back of the book you will find a clear list of all food truck operators with contact information, and in the front an overview of all 30 featured food trucks With pictures. Food trucks from Nuremberg, Berlin, Brandenburg, Brussels, Düsseldorf, Cologne, Essen, Frankfurt, Munich, and other cities are featured. Even a Viennese food truck has snuck into the book.

But be warned: you'll get hungry just flipping through this inviting book. And afterwards, you'll definitely be drawn to every street food market, and you might even recognize a snack or two.
I highly recommend getting this book. Firstly, you'll get to know the street food trucks in Germany better, and secondly, you'll learn about the ever-growing food truck trend. As I mentioned, I've already sampled a lot of food from these trucks. If you're ever in Munich or Nuremberg, don't leave without a delicious donut from the Donut Factory, and if you're looking for something a little more unusual, there's even a street food truck that sells food made with insects.
