TASTE & STYLE at Munich Airport | June 15–18, 2017 – The TASTE & STYLE event at Munich Airport is in full swing. More precisely, today is the second of four days (until Sunday evening) where you can indulge in culinary delights at the airport. It's the successor to the 2016 event. Food & Style Festival At Munich Airport, this year's TASTE & STYLE event once again boasts culinary highlights. In my opinion, there's even more on offer; the atmosphere is even more relaxed, and the "food festival" feel is definitely in the air.

I spent several hours on the first day, of course, sampling everything. You can find out who is exhibiting and presenting their delicacies for four days at the MAC Forum in my previous article from last week about the... TASTE & STYLE at Munich Airport Read on. Now my main goal is to whet your appetite a little (…actually, quite a lot…). And what better way to do that than with a short video showing everything I got to try…

Specifically, today and this weekend you can expect, for example, a juicy pulled pork burger from "Schweiger Brauhaus" with homemade black burger buns, coleslaw, and meat smoked for 16 hours in a smoker, served with a special sauce (€8); vegan wraps with fresh vegetables and falafel balls, or vegetarian gyros (€5 each) at Chakula; a "Black Bao Burger" with lemongrass tofu pieces or caramelized pork belly, Chinese cabbage, mint, sesame seeds, beetroot sprouts, coriander, and spring onions (€9); or the "Gua Bao," a steamed Taiwanese burger consisting of a yeast dough bun and similar toppings to the "Black Bao Burger" (€7 – at Turbobao). Equally interesting for me were the numerous product vendors. In other words, you can sample the products at TASTE & STYLE, but take them home with you. For example, 3Bears offered natural porridge pouches in various flavors (poppy seed banana, cinnamon apple, or fruity coconut) – of course, available for tasting on site. A visit to the Burrito Company (with two locations in the city), which was also present last year, was another must. In the video, you can see how the burritos are prepared and packaged in their new van.

Before I list everything, I simply grabbed my camera yesterday during my visit to TASTE & STYLE at Munich Airport and hopped into the van wherever I particularly liked it. That's how the aforementioned burgers, burritos, falafel wraps, snowball rainbow ice cream sundaes, and quite a bit more ended up in my stomach or rather in my bag (spices, wine, juices, etc.) – but see for yourselves.

After that, you should definitely get in your car (five hours of free parking in P20) or take the S-Bahn (lines 1 and 8) and come along! (Since there's also a cocktail truck, I recommend the S-Bahn or a less thirsty driver ;-)) Oh yeah…be sure to take an hour and grab a spot in the lounge area in front of the stage (see video). On Saturday, for example, Tobi Stegmann, known from "The Taste," performed there and showed off his skills. There's also plenty on stage today and tomorrow, and there's a non-stop selection of delicious and varied food. Taste & Style 2017 at Munich Airport

Today is day two of Taste & Style 2017 at Munich Airport. I was there yesterday, on opening day, and visited many of the food trucks and vendors, asked questions, and filmed for you. See for yourselves how the Schweiger Brauhaus Restaurant makes pulled pork burgers in its hut, the Burrito Company conjures up the best burritos in town, Grillin me softly impresses with delicious burgers, and Turbo Bao is also there with Taiwanese burgers. It's worth stopping by to try the porridge from 3Bears, the cocktails from Die Rumfahrer, the vegan gyros from Chakula vegan MobilFood, and much, much more. If you come today, you'll also see the talented Tobi Stegmann on the show stage! So it's definitely worth it. But see for yourselves!
