Christmas also in front of the new Lezizel store in the Riem Arcades

Lezizel Manti in the Riem Arcades – After the capture of Gärtnerplatz (Lezizel Manti at Gärtnerplatz) and recently also from Neufahrn (Lezizel Manti in Neufahrn) and Regensburg (Lezizel Manti in RegensburgThere's another new opening to celebrate! Just over a month ago, the "Manti King" "Lezizel" set up shop for the fourth time, enriching the new section of the Riem Arcaden shopping center with his Turkish dumplings. If you'd like to learn what manti actually are, what Turkish dumplings taste like, and what the Turkish answer to dumplings is, you should read on. here Now on to Riem…

Even from a distance, you can recognize the typical Lezizel style that characterizes all branches. Oriental elements and ornaments on the walls, a comfortable seating area (four tables / 25 seats), a dominant counter with a granite counter for ordering, along with a fresh food counter and the menu above it on the wall.

The selection of Mantis, including toppings (spinach, pastirma, mango-apple chutney, truffle cream, goji berries, walnuts, feta cheese, olives, or sunflower seeds, each between €0.50 and €2.50), is the same at all locations. However, new "topping combos" were introduced specifically for the grand opening in the Riem Arcaden shopping center. In addition to the individually selectable toppings, there are now combinations of three individual toppings, expertly blended by the Manti team: "Big Biceps" (pastirma + cheese + walnut), "Mantilicious" (mango-apple + cheese + pastirma), "Sultan's Choice" (spinach + pastirma + cheese), and "Yoda's Secret" (spinach + truffle + olives). You can either freely assemble your bowl of Turkish dumplings and toppings, or rely on the taste of the Manti crew and choose a combination.

Comfortable tables invite you to dine on site.

What has remained the same is that first the type of mantis (with beef filling or vegetarian, for €6.90 or €6.40 respectively) is chosen, then the sauce (tomato sauce, yogurt sauce and butter-paprika sauce) and finally the topping(s) for the individual touch.

Also available, of course, is the fresh food counter, which offers pomegranates and oranges for fresh juices, various homemade desserts (mosaic cake, rice pudding, semolina halva, yogurt dessert and baklava (from €1.50) and homemade salads ("Kisir" (bulgur salad), carrot salad or "Tusur" (pickled vegetables) from €2).

In addition to non-alcoholic drinks, soft drinks, and iced teas, Turkish coffee and tea are also available and prepared for you. Most notably, the refrigerated section features pre-packaged mantis in beef and vegetarian versions, each containing two portions (from €4.50), as well as sauces (for €1.50). Side dishes are also available. Everything can be eaten in or taken away.

And what else is new?

Of course, expansion continues, and Lezizel will likely soon be available beyond Bavaria's borders. There's also a lot happening in the kitchen, or rather, the experimental kitchen, and we can probably look forward to "Crispy Mantis" soon. That's all I know for now, but it's going to be exciting.

Hard facts
The Riem Arcades took nearly six months to organize, expand, and furnish before the branch was ready. Since its opening on October 25, 2017, it has been open daily from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM; the arcades remain closed on Sundays, and consequently, Lezizel Manti is also closed in the Riem Arcades.
