Lezizel Manti in Regensburg – After the capture of Gärtnerplatz (Lezizel Manti at Gärtnerplatz) and recently also from Neufahrn (Lezizel Manti in NeufahrnLezizel is now (almost) going international. 😉 There's a new Lezizel Manti branch in Regensburg – designed in the familiar oriental style, small and cozy. Die-hard fans of Turkish dumplings will also be familiar with the selection of different manti with various toppings – including vegetarian and vegan options. Manti, by the way, are the Turkish version of dumplings and can be enjoyed in different combinations at the various Lezizel locations. And now, since September 23, 2017, also in Regensburg. (What are manti? –> Learn more about Mantis).
The new Lezizel Manti store in Regensburg
The newest branch in Regensburg's old town – once again operating under a franchise system (like the one in Neufahrn) – now offers the popular Turkish manti as the third location in the city. They are filled with high-quality beef or available in a vegan option. As with every Lezizel Manti location in Regensburg, all manti, side dishes, and desserts (such as Noah's pudding, rice pudding, semolina halva, bulgur salad, and kisir) are homemade and can be enjoyed on-site or to-go – perhaps with a homemade beverage (lemon lemonade or ayran). No additives or preservatives are used.Preservatives, flavor enhancers or artificial additives and No artificial flavorings are used; instead, only high-quality ingredients are used, which are carefully processed. And you can taste the difference.
What I particularly like is that you never have to wait long, because the manti are prepared quickly. In Regensburg (or at any Lezizel Manti restaurant), the manti are served with a delicious tomato sauce, yogurt, and hot butter and paprika sauce – just like they do in Turkey. They can be enjoyed on their own, but you can also combine and enhance them with various toppings.
The centrally located store in Regensburg is open from Monday to Saturday from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm.
And what else is new?
Ha! Quite a lot. For example, keep October 26, 2017 free and be sure to stop by the Riem Arcaden shopping center. That's when it's time for the 4th annual Mantis Mantis event, or rather, Lezizel Manti! From the end of October onwards, you can enjoy these delicious mantis after shopping in the arcades (or before, to recharge). Regensburg is also always worth a visit – if only because the franchisee, Mustafa Turan, impresses not only with his mantis but also with his considerable charm.
The Manti boys (Oguz Örgün, Mustafa Turan, Ugur Örgün) themselves put it this way ;-):
