Christmas atmosphere in the Christmas village

Christmas market „Christmas Village“ – Pasing Arcades – since then 2November 2nd (until December 23rd, 2018) The popular Christmas market "Christmas Village – Pasing Arcades!" is taking place again this year. I was there last year too, handing out gingerbread and indulging in all the Christmas treats. Let's see what it's like this year, shall we?

Christmas Village – Pasing Arcades 2018

The Pasing Arcades, located in western Munich, regularly offer events and exciting activities for visitors. There are always new highlights to discover, events to attend, and fun-filled activities. And, of course, in keeping with the Christmas season, things never get boring, thanks in part to the Pasing "Christmas Village" set up in front of the Pasing Arcades.

Christmas markets are finally back! 🙂

Since November 22nd, the Pasing Christmas Village has been enticing visitors with hot chestnuts, warming mulled wine, and of course, plenty of Christmas shopping opportunities. Gifts can be purchased and Christmas highlights discovered both at the market itself and in the adjacent Pasing Arcades shopping center. From Prosecco and mulled wine, various grilled delicacies, sweet crepes, popcorn, and candied fruit, to homemade roasted almonds and the ever-popular, cozy Santa's hut (heated!), there's something for every Christmas enthusiast. The little ones are also well catered for, with a Ferris wheel, children's carousel, train rides, face painting, and an exciting entertainment program to keep them entertained. And of course, Santa Claus himself will be making an appearance at the Christmas Village. Here's an overview of... 2018 program of the „Christmas Village Pasing Arcades“ Christmas market. Christmas time in the Pasing Arcades

As you make your way from the Christmas village to the Pasing Arcades, you'll find yourself immersed in a festive atmosphere. The beautifully decorated Christmas tree, spanning three floors, immediately evokes holiday feelings. Craft activities (every Wednesday afternoon starting December 5th) cater to children, including making snowmen, writing Christmas cards (December 12th), and crafting Christmas decorations (December 19th). On Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, the Pasing Arcades gift-wrapping service will wrap your presents for you; during Christmas week, this service is available daily from 2 pm to 8 pm. And for those who have completely missed the boat, you can even have your gifts wrapped on Christmas Day itself, December 24th, between 9:30 am and 2 pm. 😉

Fancy some sweet Christmas treats?

So everything has been thought of. Of course, that includes a proper St. Nicholas event (December 6th from 4 to 6 pm), which will take place within the Pasing Arcades as part of St. Nicholas' visit – accompanied by little white angels – and delicious chocolate St. Nicholas figures will be distributed to the good children and perhaps a few adults too ;-). Otherwise, there are prize draws, musical performances (December 15, 2018 – „Hot Sax Club“; December 20, 2018 – „Groove Club Munich“), Christmas elves on stilts, and much, much more. It's worth coming along and enjoying the pre-Christmas atmosphere.
