Weihenstephan Easter Edition – fresh milk in an Easter look Do you like milk and enjoy a glass now and then in the morning, or perhaps even before bed? Then we're already on the same page when it comes to milk. And for those who are also Easter enthusiasts, the news of fresh Weihenstephan milk in a festive Easter design will surely delight you. This year, the traditional Weihenstephan dairy has launched its first-ever Easter edition of fresh milk, available in two fat levels.
Weihenstephan Easter Edition
For the first time, Weihenstephan is sporting a new look. More precisely, their popular fresh milk (1.51% fat, 3% tbsp, 3% tbsp, and 3% tbsp, 3% tbsp) is now available in an Easter-themed design. So, if you're currently reaching for fresh milk in the refrigerated section, you'll find the Easter edition featuring both an Easter bunny with a blue ribbon (for the 1.51% fat milk) and an Easter egg (for the 3.51% fat milk). Of course, the taste remains unchanged. The limited edition still uses a gentle production process with a special heating method. This ensures that the high-quality milk is processed very carefully, fully preserving its valuable nutrients and rich flavor.

…or perhaps with an Easter egg?
Milk can do more
I trust we can all pour milk into a glass and drink it ;-), but milk can do so much more. Aside from being used to make cheese or ice cream, high-quality fresh milk is also wonderful for cooking. For example, I immediately set aside several liters of Weihenstephan Easter Edition milk and did some cooking (…or rather, had it cooked… ;-)). The milk proved invaluable for everything from milk-braised pork roast (pouring it over the meat and deglazing it repeatedly), to a gratinated milk and almond casserole (as a base for fresh rice pudding with lemon zest), and even delicate mandarin milk slices. My weekend visitor, on the other hand, is the classic "a glass of milk with my snack" drinker and asked me to mention that Weihenstephan's fresh milk is simply "really good" and is bought regularly, both in the 1.5% and 3.5% fat versions.
Milk lovers everywhere – no wonder, given its versatility and high quality, right? For those who simply believe that "milk is just milk," try this experiment: buy four or five different types of fresh milk. You'll notice a clear difference. So do yourself, your stomach, and the Easter Bunny a favor and look out for the limited-edition Easter milk on your next trip to the supermarket.
