My personal HOME FAVORITES test

Clearly, I wanted to try out this exciting service immediately and find out how the "HEIMAT LIEBLINGE" (Home Favorites) work. For my test, I chose products from... „"Böswirth's Farmers Market" in Schwabhausen. My product choice fell on three-colored tagliatelle tricolori from the „"Pasta fino Manufaktur"“; on the spice mix „Spaghetti all“ Aglio” by „Aschauer Hofgenuss“ – nicely packaged with a branded cooking spoon; on a tea advent calendar from „"Sun Gate"“, on a type of cocoa from „Becks cocoa cocoa specialties“ with 72 % cocoa and delicious gingerbread from the Hans Pest Monastery Bakery – The Gingerbread Manufactory.

My product selection from HEIMAT LIEBLINGE

For the product tasting, I cooked my companion and myself the colorful tagliatelle, produced in Schonstett, a municipality in the Upper Bavarian district of Rosenheim, and tossed it in the Spaghetti all'Aglio seasoning mix for pasta dishes – a tangy blend with garlic flakes, onion flakes, red bell pepper flakes, chili, sea salt, parsley, and oregano. All I had to do was moisten some of the regional seasoning mix with water and heat it with four parts olive oil. Combined with the delicious Bavarian tagliatelle, it made a truly excellent, regional meal.

In the afternoon, I enjoyed my first tea bag of delicious Sonnentor tea, in my case a "Cheery Herbal Tea" from certified organic farming with blackberry leaves, apple mint, strawberry leaves, marigolds, cornflowers, and sunflower petals. The tea advent calendar contains 24 different tea bags, allowing you to discover a new organic variety each day. As you know me, of course, I had gingerbread with my tea. I was already familiar with the heavenly Elisenlebkuchen from the Pest monastery bakery from various other regional purchases, so I knew I could expect top-quality products from Bavaria, more precisely from Markt Indersdorf. Pest offers gingerbread with white, dark, and milk chocolate, as well as with fondant and plain. They use only the highest quality ingredients, and the gingerbread is lovingly coated by hand with melt-in-your-mouth Belgian praline chocolate.

I ended my day of regional culinary delights with a delicious hot chocolate. Becks cocoa is located in Stephanskirchen – one of the largest municipalities in the Upper Bavarian district of Rosenheim – and produces high-quality hot chocolate from organic cocoa and organic cane sugar in various cocoa percentages. Anyone who has tried it knows that these are among the best hot chocolate powders on the market.
