Bernbacher Pasta: "BELLA PASTA" in a new look | Anyone who's visited my website before knows that pasta is one of my favorites. 🙂 And when it's regional pasta – like the kind produced by the traditional company Bernbacher – almost nothing can stop me from regularly treating myself to a plate of delicious pasta in a variety of flavors several times a week.

The best Bavarian noodles made from high-quality raw materials! – That's Bernbacher.

In the form of five detailed articles, I have now told you about both the Philosophy and History of Bernbacher, the Bernbacher pasta range, the Bernbacher production in Hohenbrunn, the new paper packaging from Bernbacher, as well as about the New design for the "The Good Ones" product line from Bernbacher reported. In my previous Bernbacher article, I already announced that the "Bella PASTA" product line – the Bavarian Bernbacher pasta made from 100% durum wheat – will also get a new look and the packaging will be redesigned.

The time has come, and 12 of the 14 Bella PASTA varieties are already sporting their new look in supermarkets. Let's take a look at the Bella PASTA range and the new packaging together. Let's go!

Into the water with you for 11 minutes! Afterwards, I had "Bella PASTA" spaghetti. My favorite spaghetti.

„Bella PASTA“ by Bernbacher – a look at the product range

Bernbacher's entire "Bella PASTA" range comprises 14 different varieties, each in 500-gram packages. This product line is the counterpart to the "Die Guten" range – the Bavarian pasta producer's fresh egg pasta.

A glance at the packaging and the names of the individual varieties is enough to establish the connection and intended association with traditional, typical Italian pasta. The recipe for all "Bella PASTA" pastas is egg-free and uses 100% durum wheat from Bavaria. There are now 14 different "Bella PASTA" varieties – the perfect one for every occasion: Tagliatelle, Rondelli, Fusilli, Rigatoni, Maccheroncini, Pennette, Cornetti, Schnitt, Spaghetti No. 1 and No. 2, Fettuccine No. 3, Amorini, Kordelli, and Farfalline.

Similar to "Die Guten," the "Bella PASTA" range has also undergone several packaging redesigns. A few months ago, the next design phase began for the "Bavarian Italians," and the new design can now be found on store shelves. Soon, all 14 "Bella PASTA" varieties will be available in this packaging.

And here's my tip for you: If you haven't tried it yet, you should do so very soon. Durum wheat pasta, also known as "Bella PASTA," tastes completely different from fresh egg pasta ("Die Guten"). There's no "better or worse" here; you should simply try the different varieties and types and find your own favorites. With Bernbacher's whole wheat, spelt, and organic ranges, there are almost 60 different types of pasta available!

The new packaging design for Bernbacher's "Bella PASTA"?

With the exception of Farfalline and Spaghetti No. 2, all varieties have already been repackaged. Let's take a look. The colors red and blue still dominate; for brand recognition, the same beige tones and viewing windows as on the "Die Guten" product line are also found on the respective packages. The green "100 % Regional" label is, of course, present on all varieties.

How do you like the new design? – And have you tried all the varieties yet?

The "Nutri-Score" and logo, also printed on the packaging, provide information about the nutritional values and how well the product fits into your own diet. Each package also clearly displays the cooking time in addition to the 500-gram portion size. Since all "Bella Pasta" pasta is vegan, an additional "Vegan" logo adorns the new packaging.

I also really like the printed information regarding partner farmers, quality guarantee, and so on. A glance at the new "Bella PASTA" packages reveals that the close collaboration between Bernbacher and Bavarian farmers ensures complete transparency and traceability of the raw materials. The packaging also tells you that Bernbacher's "Bella PASTA" is made exclusively with 100% Bavarian durum wheat semolina and water from the Alpine foothills.

With this, my final article about Bernbacher, I can only encourage you once again, for the sixth time, to buy Bernbacher pasta. Whether you prefer fresh egg pasta and/or durum wheat pasta is, of course, entirely up to you. What's certain is that by buying Bernbacher, you're supporting local agriculture and helping to reduce CO₂ emissions through shorter transport routes. Plus, you're guaranteed to be cooking with products that are completely GMO-free. Thumbs up for Bernbacher, see you at the pasta boil! 😉
