The Roxy is a cocktail bar or restaurant on Leopoldstrasse and in my opinion is geared more towards young people or at most those in their early thirties.
It's usually very loud and crowded, and it doesn't really create a cozy atmosphere for eating and chatting. The Roxy has more of a lounge feel in the back and is furnished with many small, dark seating areas in the front. A bar runs almost the entire length of the Roxy.
The cocktails are quite good and are nicely presented with decorations and frills. Anyone who likes Daiquiris should definitely try the strawberry Daiquiri. The Hugo and Sex on the Beach are also palatable.
The food is okay, but not so good that I'd go to Roxy just for the food. As mentioned, it's loud and cramped, and the food is served in a packed, narrow restaurant – the later it gets, the more crowded it is, as is typical for Leopoldstrasse.
The goat cheese salad was very well dressed and plentiful. The turkey salad had a somewhat bland dressing, but it was also sufficient. The chocolate cake was excellent.
In my opinion, the coolest thing about Roxy is the lamp that winds its way across the entire ceiling, bathed in a warm, orange light. For cocktails in the evening – when fun and a "nice night out" are the main priorities and quiet conversation isn't the goal – Roxy is quite nice. I might give it another try.

The Roxy is history. It closed in June 2016 and is currently being renovated. An Italian restaurant called Via Appia will soon open there.
