Burger me | Munich – Delivery service Today, for a change, I'm not recommending a restaurant in Munich, but a burger delivery service that, in my opinion, delivers significantly better burgers than many others. Burger Me doesn't have a huge selection, but it does offer a well-rounded range of burgers. For example, they have two different vegetarian burgers, various meat burgers, scampi, chili, etc.
Every burger can be ordered as a single or double burger. This means that the main topping (the meat, the veggie burger) is placed twice between the burger buns. After selecting your burger, you can also add a free extra, such as guacamole. Mayonnaise, ketchup, etc., can also be omitted.
There are also set menus – I've never ordered them – which include things like fries or a small salad. The salads are very tasty and don't taste like typical delivery salads. They also offer desserts (various Häagen-Dazs ice cream flavors, muffins, donuts), finger food, and a selection of drinks – all at fair prices.
After placing an order, an approximate delivery time is displayed. This is almost never met; delivery usually arrives much sooner. (Word case: "Your order will arrive in 90 minutes" – the doorbell rang after 17 minutes). Generally, an earlier delivery isn't really a problem ;-).
Once, due to poor planning on our part, we had a situation where a burger was ordered, a 70-minute wait time was displayed, and the delivery driver arrived after 30 minutes to find the door locked. Despite a phone call requesting that the order be left outside, the burgers hadn't arrived – but the money was gone via PayPal.
