Anyone with even a passing interest in new food trends, culinary delights, and delicacies has probably already come across this great brand. Foodist delivers different food boxes to you every month. These boxes are filled with fantastic, diverse delicacies – always new, unique, and exciting. The surprise delicacies in the boxes come from all over Europe and always offer new products. So, if you subscribe to Foodist boxes, you can be sure to regularly try new culinary delights.

I've been a big fan of Foodist for a long time and wanted to give it a try. So I opted for three boxes – two different "Foodist Gourmet Boxes" and the "Foodist Healthy Box," which features the latest superfoods and trendy products for a more conscious diet. One thing all the boxes have in common is a big dose of curiosity and surprise. It's that feeling you get when you hold a package in your hands, wondering what's inside.

To give you an idea, I've taken photos of all the boxes and their contents. For example, the first Gourmet Box contained six (normally six to eight) different delicacies. My first box included a chutney with tomatoes and caramelized onions, jelly candies from Caramel Fizz, a hazelnut cream with cocoa, caramelized peanuts with sesame seeds, mango macadamia granola, and mirabelle plum lemonade. It also came with an A4 magazine called "Food & Stories from Foodist Box," which explains each item in the box and tells a story about it. So, as you can see, a colorful mix of delicacies awaits you. Every box is different, new, and completely customized each month.

The great thing is: you can order the boxes individually for occasional use, or as part of a three-, six-, or twelve-month subscription. For example, the Gourmet or Healthy Box is available for €24.90 with a 12-month subscription and €28.90 per box with a 3-month subscription. If you prefer more flexibility, the first box costs €19.90, and each subsequent box costs €26.90. The advantage here is the flexible payment, cancellation, and subscription duration. Shipping is free for all options, and you'll receive a magazine with every delivery. The flexible subscription durations are especially convenient if you'd like to continue using Foodist for a while. You can enjoy Foodist for as long as you like.

I thoroughly enjoyed all three boxes, and it was a pleasure to unpack, examine, and of course, taste each individual product. If you're lacking inspiration for what to do with the ingredients, simply take a look at the magazine, and your creative block will quickly disappear.

My personal conclusion

If you're even half as much of a foodie as I am, you'll definitely have fun with these boxes. I was especially taken with the Healthy Box (see prices above). My box was filled with organic risotto, chia lemon cookies and a chia superfood drink, as well as cheddar chips, pine nuts, high-potency granola, coconut macarons, and quinoa bell pepper spread. Of course, there's always the possibility that you might not like one of the products, but that's the thing with all surprises in life, right? 😉

Definitely try the boxes and let me know what you think. I was also impressed by the value for money. Firstly, because the products are all high-quality and not available in every run-of-the-mill supermarket, and secondly, because you don't exactly fly halfway around the world to try new products.
