This fourth article is about testing the Läderach online shop. For this, I grabbed my laptop and ordered a handful of Läderach highlights, some of which are only available online. I'll share my experiences and discuss the shop's features. Läderach online shop I'll tell you about what that entails today.

Do you know any online shops where you know you won't be able to resist even before clicking? – To be honest, I'm not much of a shopper myself, but that doesn't apply to fine delicacies, high-quality foods, and delicious treats that you can discover online and buy with just a few clicks. Personally, I mainly use the internet to write about food, research it, or buy it online. This includes the extensive Läderach online shop with its exquisite Swiss chocolate in the form of various praline boxes in a wide range of flavors, chocolate gifts and souvenirs, FrischSchoggi™ (fresh chocolate), seasonal highlights, and much more.

My online order went smoothly and quickly.

Since I'm already familiar with Läderach from my visits to their stores in the Stachus Passages, browsing their online shop was doubly exciting for me. I was looking forward to exploring Läderach's online world.

Divided into sections like "Fresh Chocolate™", "Pralines and Truffles", "Bars", "Snacking", "Gifts", and "New Products", the online shop is not only well-organized but also very clearly laid out. Under "New Products", you'll also find all of Läderach's seasonal products for Christmas, Easter, and other holidays. It's a real pleasure to browse through the different product categories and discover Swiss chocolate highlights and delicious chocolate gifts.

Instead of selecting individual categories, I prefer to browse through the entire product range (category "All Products") to make sure I don't miss anything. The website's filter is also very useful, allowing you to specify both price and your preferred type of chocolate. For example, if you click on "Pralines and Truffles," you can filter by white, milk, nut, alcoholic, milk chocolate, or even Grand Cru chocolate, and your selected choices will be displayed. If you already know which chocolate treats you're craving, you don't even have to click on the product to add it to your cart, as each product on the overview page has an "Add to Cart" button. For even fewer clicks, you can also specify how many Läderach products should be displayed per page at the bottom of each product selection page.

My selection in the Läderach online shop

A total of 180 different items are offered. Even just my beloved "„FreshChocolate™„"This category offers you over 40 different products. This includes seasonal products made from FrischSchoggi™, such as currently available chocolate Easter eggs and bunnies with nuts and flakes. In the "„Pralines and truffles“You will find over 30 different boxes, filled with various chocolates and truffles. The smallest box contains four Läderach chocolates, the largest 36.”.

Be sure to click through the „Snacking“ products from Läderach. There you'll find Läderach chocolate-covered popcorn in various flavors and sizes, Choco-Flakes, Florentines, almond mixes, orange sticks, Tartufi, Perlettes, chocolate hearts, and much more in a variety of flavors – definitely one of my favorite categories. Also worth trying: The Carrès Originals in five different varieties.

My personal review of the Läderach online shop

As mentioned earlier, I tried to discover some Läderach products in the Läderach online shop that I hadn't yet encountered in previous Läderach stores. My first choice was the Läderach Carrès Originale. These are 30 wafer-thin pralines in five different chocolate squares (almond, raspberry, cocoa, stracciatella, and hazelnut) with creamy fillings and crunchy pieces. After tasting them, my favorites are the almond and cocoa varieties.

The chocolate bars, available in six different varieties, also caught my eye, and I chose the... Tafel Grand Cru Madagascar With a cocoa content of 641 1/3 TK, it's made exclusively with cocoa from Madagascar, has a deep brown color, and a silky sheen. I personally love dark chocolate and therefore prefer a cocoa content between 63 1/3 TK and 70 1/3 TK. The Grand Cru Madagascar variety has a wonderful fruity aroma and tastes slightly of fresh lime with a hint of bitterness. Those who know how to taste chocolate will detect not only citrus fruit but also red berries, honey, and delicately roasted island cocoa. I especially like the fine texture of the chocolate, and I confess, I didn't share ;-). If you prefer even more cocoa and therefore a more bitter taste, you should choose the Tafel Grand Cru Ecuador with 70 %, or even the variety Grand Cru Trinidad With 80 % cocoa – both are on my shopping list for my next Läderach shopping trip. They also offer bars made of white or milk chocolate, as well as with caramel.

Tartufi in nine varieties, Lou whole milk chocolate Easter bunny, Grand Cru Madagascar 64 %, Carrès Originale pralines and a personalized greeting card

The newly available "Tartufi" also ended up in my Läderach shopping cart. They're available in boxes of four or nine. The boxes containing nine Tartufi come in single-variety or assorted, meaning with nine different Tartufi varieties per box. Läderach Tartufi Four-Pack The varieties "Tartufi White", "Tartufi Pistachio", "Tartufi Hazelnut" and "Tartufi Grand Cru" are included. Since I wanted to taste and compare the full range, I chose the "„Läderach – Assorted Tartufi, 9-pack“"with the varieties "White Tartufi", "Coconut", "Hazelnut", "Pistachio", "Walnut", "Salted Caramel", "Amaretti", "Cappuccino" and "Grand Cru". My personal favorites are the Coconut, Salted Caramel and Grand Cru varieties. Here's a tip for you: Be sure to order the Tartufi, in my opinion they are – alongside the delicious pralines and the FrischSchoggi™ – definitely one of the Läderach highlights!

To coincide with the upcoming Easter holiday, I also chose a small gift and a greeting card from the currently available and very extensive Easter range. My choice fell on the Lou the Easter bunny made of milk chocolate Isn't it adorable and perfect as a gift? For my greeting card, I chose one of the available designs and added my own message, which is then printed on your card. From "Get Well Soon" or "Happy Birthday," to "Thank You" and "I Love You," to neutral design cards, or even Easter and holiday cards, there's the right one for every occasion. Läderach greeting card in the Läderach online shop included.

To place my order, I simply had to create a user account with just a few clicks, select my payment method (PayPal, credit card, Klarna, etc.), and then wait for my order. Shipping is free for orders over €30. The package arrived within a few business days, and everything was securely packed. My Easter bunny was complete, the greeting card was exactly as requested, and all the items were in my box as ordered.

For me personally, the Läderach online shop is the perfect alternative to shopping in-store. 🙂 Whether you prefer shopping online or offline at Läderach is, of course, entirely up to you. However, I recommend visiting a store as well as browsing online.

One advantage of shopping in-store is, of course, the personal service and friendly advice, as well as the selection of "FrischSchoggi™" and fresh pralines at the counter. Online shopping, on the other hand, allows you to make your decisions in a relaxed atmosphere without leaving home, and your Läderach products will be conveniently delivered to your door. For me personally, there's no "better" option; both are wonderful experiences in their own unique way.
