What can you expect at REWE Family?

An exciting program awaits you in every respect. While some explore the diverse and fresh products of REWE in the culinary arena, others gather great tips for healthy eating, stroll across the Theresienwiese, and stop by the large cooking stage with Andi Schweiger and Stefan Marquard. There will also be a spacious, covered terrace where you can enjoy a variety of culinary delights, which you can pick up beforehand at the REWE bistros. Enjoyment is clearly a top priority at the REWE Family Event. Naturally, one category simply cannot be missing: food trucks.

REWE Family Street Food Market and Co

This year, for the first time, the REWE Street Food Market will feature a variety of food trucks. REWE has handpicked the very best and will present a wide selection of creative street food. Discover new culinary trends, enjoy laid-back DJ sounds, and experience the already popular and legendary Munich street food atmosphere. Speaking of DJs – Glasperlenspiel, Max Mutzke, EWIG, and KUULT will rock the stage with cool music and a fast-paced new program featuring dance and drum performances, a BMX show, and rolling juggling – all hosted by presenter Guido Cantz and Natascha Zillner from Radio Arabella.

Also great: The integrated REWE barbecue garden for true meat lovers! Here, you and your family can try out how to best grill sausages, steaks, meat, and even vegetarian options, and then take your own barbecue home at fair and family-friendly prices. Professional grilling tips are, of course, included free of charge at the REWE Family Event.

Once you're full and fancy a little more stroll, take your kids (and wives ;-)) to the REWE Beauty Lounge. Here, you'll discover the latest hairstyle and makeup trends while enjoying cool tunes from DJ Cath Boo. And for the gentlemen – don't worry! You won't just be standing around doing nothing. In the same lounge, you'll also find the latest beard-grooming tips and get all sorts of "to-go" beauty tips.

Plenty of fun is offered for the little ones.

Football World and Children's Land

Excuses like "I can't go, it's the European Championship!" unfortunately don't count, gentlemen, because football fans, Euro experts, and budding goal scorers are all warmly welcomed in the specially set up REWE Football World. So, there will be plenty of excitement and cheering on via live broadcasts on screens. The event is especially great for the little ones, of course. A REWE Children's Land awaits the youngest members of the family with games and fun, including a children's shopping paradise (for ages 3-10), a giant roller slide, and tractor races. And of course, the educational aspect of the event hasn't been forgotten, giving kids the opportunity to learn a lot about food and its proper handling while they play.

As a long-time reader, I find it very disappointing how the blog has changed in the last year. The commercial aspect has simply become far too dominant; "advertising posts" like this one would never have existed before.
That's a real shame – it's just so much less enjoyable to read. But I suppose that's the price readers pay for the blogger's success.

Hi Jean! First of all, thank you for following me and reading my posts for so long. I'm really happy about that! When it comes to event announcements and product reviews, I simply have to be a bit more objective. If you read my restaurant recommendations, meaning a follow-up report, nothing has changed at all. It's still all my independent and personal opinion. 🙂

Hello Bianca,

Thank you so much for this tip – I'll definitely check it out when I get there. These Family Days bring back so many childhood memories. My best friend and I always had front-row seats for the stars, including the time Gil Ofarim got pelted with yogurt ;). In the evenings, we'd always go home stuffed and with huge chocolate-induced grins on our faces.

Best regards
Verena
