DAILY TIP: Thuy #biancastagestipp
The Thuy is a cozy, Vietnamese restaurant in Sendling. What's special about it: Here, the Vietnamese owner cooks herself, and with... Ingredients from local Asian markets. In the rather small and outwardly unassuming restaurant there is just over 10 tables Each table is decorated with fresh flowers and white tablecloths. A huge golden Buddha sits atop the massive shelf stocked with various wine bottles (red, white, by the glass, and bottled). Overall, the atmosphere is cozy. The food at Thuy is superb. Appetizers, main courses, and desserts are all excellent. typically of Vietnamese origin and are prepared fresh daily. I can recommend both of them. Pad Thai (15€) with fried rice noodles, Pacific crab, Chinese chives, bean sprouts, tamarind and peanuts, as well as the various appetizers and desserts, such as e.g. „Banh Chuoi“ (5€) – Steamed sticky rice cake with sweet banana filling wrapped in fragrant banana leaves. It's worth stopping by. But be sure to reserve in advance.
