Versatile, grilled or as a recipe ingredient!

GRILLIDO – the „Grill Festival of Nations“ – „"Oleeee, ole, ole, oleeeee!" I admit I rarely shout that, and I also rarely turn on the TV when football is on. Nevertheless, important football matches have one clear advantage for me: there's usually a barbecue! That, in turn, means there's good food from the grill, and besides vegetables, corn, and meat, I prefer sausages. So, if the sausages are on the grill, I'm happy. And if the sausages are also from Grillido (I reportedThat makes me all the happier. The World Cup runs until July 15th, and my chances of success in getting lots of delicious sausages (and a few goals for Germany) are hopefully quite good. Until the ball starts rolling again, I'll give you a quick and concise introduction to Grillido's "Grillfest der Nationen" (Grill Festival of Nations), i.e., their grilled sausages.

World Champion Sausage from Grillido: The Barbecue Festival of Nations

Just in time for the World Cup, Grillido has created sausages representing the title favorites Germany, Brazil, Spain, and France. Grillido stands for sausages with up to 75% less fat, more flavor, 100% natural ingredients, and a wide range of tastes. For the World Cup, each of the aforementioned countries has its own sausage, and you can put them on the grill and cheer on your favorite team in a culinary way. Let's take a closer look at the different varieties. With such diverse ingredients, there's sure to be a perfect sausage for every grilling enthusiast.

An overview of the sausages and their flavors:
- France:
Chicken, spinach and feta cheese (personal rating after my own grilling test: 9 out of 10 sausage points)
Mexico: Chicken, corn, bell peppers (personal rating after my own grilling test: 7 out of 10 sausage points)
Spain: Chicken, smoked paprika, garlic (personal rating after my own grilling test: 6 out of 10 sausage points | …not really my taste….)
Brazil: Beef, Emmental cheese, chili (personal rating after my own grilling test: 8 out of 10 sausage points)
Germany: Pork, sauerkraut & smoked meat (personal rating after my own grilling test: 9 out of 10 sausage points)

Grillido BBQ sauces go perfectly with this. And of course, here too: 100%. The varieties are Grillido BBQ Grill Sauce and Grillido Pure Mango Curry Grill Sauce.

Get your sausages ready! Buy Welmeister sausages from Grillido

You can buy the sausages at EDEKA and REWE. They're available in single-variety packs and also in convenient mixed packs. If you're standing there with your pack of sausages and can't quite figure out what to do with them (besides grilling them), Grillido's website has tons of recipes. My favorite: "The Bavarian Hot Dog" with the German sausage. Simply take two pretzel sticks, cut three-quarters of the way through, and two German sausages ("BBQ Bavaria") grilled until golden brown. Top with Obazda (Bavarian cheese spread) and radishes, add some fried onions, and dig in. Oh yeah... I also personally think Grillido's new product line, the "Grillido Chicken Chips," with 771mg of protein, only 71mg of fat, and 0.61mg of carbohydrates, is really great. Perfect for snacking, for example, while watching a football match, and you won't get fat from it. 😉
