Advance notice: Hunters' evening at WESTENEND FACTORY – Whoop, whoop! It's that time again, and I'd like to tell you about another event at the steak and fish restaurant "Westend Factory." This industrial-style restaurant, located at Heimeranplatz, has a lot to offer. Besides delicious steaks, creative fish dishes, regional specialties, and refreshing drinks, they also have great wines and regularly host exciting events – all centered around the theme of culinary enjoyment. October 11, 2018 Fittingly for the start of autumn, the "Hunters' Evening" will take place from 6:00 pm.

For a true foodie, the arrival of autumn isn't just the third season, but also the start of game season. You can kick off this culinary epoch with the Hunter's Evening on Thursday, October 11, 2018. The finest delicacies from the local forest await you – as always from Westend Factory, served in a sharing style, meaning the food is placed in the center of the table and everyone can help themselves. Intriguingly, the 4-course menu included in the Hunter's Evening also features exotic combinations that perfectly complement the theme of "Game & Forest." Appropriate beverages will be served with each course.

Four exquisite combinations land on your plate. The meal begins with a small amuse-bouche ("venison heart" with rosehip, chanterelles, and pretzel), offering a first glimpse of the menu to follow. The first course is "nettle" with nettle gnocchi, pine cone apricot, buckwheat, and wildflower cheese. This is followed by "wild fruit" with sorbet and preserved cherries from 2018. The highlight is sure to be the tender "venison loin" in a spice crust with salsify, pearl barley, and rowan berries. And last but not least, the dessert "hazelnut" with malt, blackberry, and caramel. For €59 per person, you can experience this hunter's evening with your loved ones – menu and drinks included, of course. Be sure to reserve your spot in advance by calling the provided number, as the events fill up quickly.
