Seven Nations | Delivery service for pizza, pasta & more My food delivery service review series continues. This time I wanted to be a little more adventurous and ordered from "Seven Nations," a delivery service with fairly good online reviews that was new to me. As the name suggests, the service offers dishes from seven different countries, or rather, dishes from seven different nations. I again opted for the platform pizza.de and a limit of €50 for my order – naturally, I chose this amount so I could try out a few more things for you. Okay, so it was time to select the food. The selection is quite extensive, and admittedly, I probably feel the same way you do when I see that schnitzel, Indian food, pasta, Asian dishes, burgers, and so on are offered in one meal deal. That makes you a bit skeptical at first, right? To dispel any doubts and find out how good the delivery service is, I decided to place an order.
Specifically, this means: I opened the pizza.de platform, logged into my account without any hassle, and was immediately able to decide what I wanted to eat, as the platform remembers all my data. I also recently discovered that you can store vouchers in your profile, creating a kind of credit balance that you can use.

Food selection at Seven Nations
I browsed the menu and, together with my companion, decided on a variety of dishes. Since I'm a big fan of Asian cuisine and have tried many different options in that genre, I opted for something completely new at Seven Nations. For starters, we chose – not particularly creative, but delicious – six breaded mozzarella sticks (€7.50) and a generously portioned salad with mango strips, feta cheese, and yogurt dressing (€8.20). Something I've noticed over the years with salads from delivery services: if salad delivery isn't their primary focus, they're often rather bland and come with pre-made dressing. The salad from Seven Nations, however – although also with pre-made yogurt dressing – was wonderfully fresh and airy, and the mango and cheese provided a welcome change from the main courses. These, in turn, were classic Italian.
Penne Napoli
My companion opted for a pizza with scampi (€12.90) and I ordered pasta Napoli (€7.50). You might be wondering why I ordered such a "simple dish"—basically penne with tomato sauce. Well, a) I was craving pasta, and b) all the other pasta dishes on the menu included cream sauce. I scrolled through the entire menu and noticed more and more dishes with the addition of "with cream sauce." I didn't really understand the concept, but I wasn't deterred and grabbed the only pasta dish without cream sauce. ;-). Long story short: My companion's pizza didn't have cream sauce, but rather a generous portion of fresh scampi. I'll get into the details in a moment, but first, let me tell you about the fifth item we chose to sample the variety of "Seven Nations," which also brought us to the €50 mark. We opted for a huge portion of vegetarian Indian biryani (for €11.90).

Delivery and evaluation of the food
After about 45 minutes, everything arrived well-packaged and at the right temperature, so we unpacked. The portion of the Indian dish "Biryani" was exceptionally large, and we ate it for two days – which was a good thing in this case because it tasted excellent. Too often, especially with Indian delivery services, I tend to go back to my favorites (Palak Paneer or Malai Kofta), so this time we opted for something different. A good choice, and definitely recommended in terms of portion size, taste, and price. A slightly spicy note, fresh vegetables, and plenty of rice are the ingredients of the vegetarian Biryani. My pasta was perfectly al dente and – at least for me – far too much. There was nothing to complain about in terms of taste, and you probably shouldn't have overly high culinary expectations for penne with tomato sauce. I would have liked a little Parmesan, but then I used my good Parmesan from Italy. My companion's generously topped pizza wasn't particularly impressive in terms of taste, but there was nothing to criticize either. A "normal pizza" with a fairly generous portion of toppings, a thin crust, plenty of cheese, and reasonable value for money. If you're looking for something extravagant, you might want to check out the "special pizzas." The salad, on the other hand, was very tasty, and because the dressing came in a separate container, it was nice and crisp. I generally really like the combination of salad, mango, and feta cheese, and it's also offered by well-known salad chains in Munich. It's helpful to know that you can definitely order here if you just fancy a hearty salad or if someone in your party is watching their figure. This one was definitely one of the better ones. You don't necessarily have to order the mozzarella sticks, but they're not bad – they could have been a bit crispier, but they're perfect for a TV-watching finger food evening.

My personal conclusion
All in all, despite the various points mentioned, I can recommend this delivery service if you're looking for something a bit simpler. Seven Nations, in my opinion, is a prime example of how difficult it is to deliver Italian food across the city and ensure it arrives at the customer's door in consistent quality. However, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a free bottle of red wine – the quality is another matter – with our order totaling exactly €48. A nice touch and, of course, good customer service. I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again and I'm glad I gave a multicultural delivery service on pizza.de a chance.
