A must for every gourmet: The "Food Festival" at the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Starnberg || In 2017, I had the pleasure of reporting on the "Food Festival" of the four-star superior Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Starnberg in Upper Bavaria for the first time here on my website. This popular culinary event, based in and around Starnberg, is now in its fifth year.

I am therefore all the more pleased to be able to announce the „Food Festival 2023“ at the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Starnberg as part of the five-year anniversary of the food event series. Never been to one of the "Food Festivals" at the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten in Starnberg? – Let me tell you, you've been missing out! All the better that the "Food Festival 2023" is just around the corner, and you can be a part of it again. Head to Starnberg!

What can you expect? – Look forward to a very special experience! At the „Food Festival“ of the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Starnberg, all your senses will be stimulated, and various areas of the hotel (the lobby, the gourmet/Michelin-starred restaurant „Aubergine“, the restaurant „Oliv’s“ and the terrace) will be transformed into a kind of marketplace with numerous culinary meeting points where you can discover and taste various delicacies.

To kick things off, there's a delicious champagne aperitif, which you can enjoy either before or while strolling and sampling the food and drinks from stall to stall in the festival area. Several live cooking stations await you, where the in-house Michelin-starred chef Maximilian Moser and his team will be preparing a variety of delicacies and grilled specialties. I've learned that as a guest, you can look forward to tuna sashimi, truffle pasta served from a Parmesan wheel, and a Bavarian-style bowl with marinated roast pork.

Not only your taste buds, but your ears will be delighted too. In other words, you can look forward to fantastic live music at this year's "Food Festival" at the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Starnberg. The "Walking Voices" will enhance the festival's inviting atmosphere with a musical accompaniment featuring a mix of swing, soul, and pop. Later in the evening – the event runs until midnight – DJ Lady Chan will get the party started.

Meet regional partners during the „Food Festival“

In addition to the numerous in-house gourmet highlights, selected regional partners will once again present their products at this year's "Food Festival." For example, there will be samples from the "Clement Chococult" chocolate manufactory from Bernried, a regular at the "Food Festival," excellent wines from the Lederer winery, refreshing ice cream specialties from the "Eiswerkstatt" ice cream parlor, and delicious food from Toni Tänzer's food truck, equipped with a 360-degree grill. There's plenty to discover.
