The Burrito Company on Augustenstrasse is definitely worth a visit – whether you like burritos or not, because after your visit you'll love them. There's also a second location on Baaderstrasse – near Munich's popular Gärtnerplatz.
Immediately upon entering one of the two small burrito shops, with their light-colored walls, simple wooden tables, and pictures on the walls, you are greeted very warmly. You instantly feel comfortable and eager to enjoy your custom-made burrito.
You can order your burrito/burrinho – the smaller version of the burrito – using the order cards provided (see photos). These cards allow you to customize your filling with your choice of ingredients – vegetarian options are also available. If you enter your name in the field below – or the name you'd like for your burrito/burrinho 😉 – you'll receive your burrito wrapped in aluminum foil, decorated with personalized stickers, in a small paper bag with a friendly smile and the words, "Enjoy your burrito, Bianca!"„
You simply choose whether you want a burrito – for the hungry – or the smaller version (the burrinho). As mentioned, the filling can be customized. In addition to rice, you can choose kidney beans, cheese, sour cream, chili salsa, classic salsa, grilled corn, or mixed greens – or simply tick the box for "with everything!" Guacamole, fajitas, or cilantro are also available as extras. For the die-hard burrito fans, there are also options for extra spice, extra meat, and extra cheese.
If you've checked the box for "I'm eating here!", your burrito will be brought to your table in a small brown wooden tray with a napkin, also wrapped in aluminum foil. There are only three tables in the small shop: one longer table for larger groups and two separate tables with bar stools. There's also standing room along the wall. The Burrito Company fills up quickly at lunchtime, so you might have to wait a little while – but not long. The staff are efficient, taking your order quickly and passing it to the small kitchen right behind the counter.
You can now order your burrito via the "Open Tabs" app and simply pick up your food, saving you any potential waiting time. The Burrito Company is open until 9 pm. Give it a try and enjoy – you'll love it! 🙂
