The Miele Cooking School is celebrating its Munich premiere at the "Berlin Food Week" festival, giving you the opportunity to participate in cooking classes for the first time during the festival period. October 14th and 15th, 2022, Experience great cooking workshops in the Miele Lounge (Allianz Arena)..
In Berlin, the festival workshops with top professionals in the kitchen have long been among the most popular food events in the capital. Now, thanks to the festival, you also have the opportunity in Munich for the first time to experience the Miele Cooking School and book courses.
Over two festival days (October 14th/15th, 2022) you will receive training from renowned and well-known professionals from the food scene – Rico Birndt, Florian Brunner & Hermes Gehnen – the opportunity to learn from true culinary and cooking experts. In the form of three separately bookable and unique workshops, you will learn how to prepare a classic French Pâté en Croûte (by Florian Brunner – most recently Chef de Partie in a 3-star restaurant in Munich); the Refined and creative integration of caviar into home cooking (by Hermes Gehnen from N25) and cooks the popular Signature Dish „Trout Meunière 2.0 – a Bavarian-Nordic fusion“ with top chef Rico Birndt (from the newly opened Mural Farmhouse in Munich).

Seven restaurants in Munich are participating – each offering plant-based menus during the festival. Once you've chosen a restaurant, you can view their menu and book tables directly on the "Berlin Food Week" website. 100 % plant-based „New Meat™“
The following Munich restaurants are participating: „The edelweiss„", the „Restaurant together„", the "„Birdie„", the "„nineOfive„", the "„Brasserie Colette Tim Raue„, „Hans Kebab“" and that "„Scum„.
As part of a small "preliminary event", I had the opportunity to... „Berlin Food Week“ city menu from Brasserie Colette Tim Raue to enjoy. Here, when booking a menu, you can expect five vegan courses (65 euros per person) under the motto "Blown Away by the Bark - New Meat from Vegetables," including the following menu: "Pickled Beelitz Asparagus 'May 2022' with Salted Mandarin & Sorrel"; "Heirloom Carrot - Caviar of the Field, Pine & Leek"; "King Oyster Mushroom - Pistachio, Lychee & Rose"; "Braised Peppered Eggplant - Beluga Lentil, Mango & Zucchini Blossom" and "Oat Caramel Madeleines - Quince & Hazelnut".
