TRY FOODS – Sample sets of premium foods – A while ago, I came across the TRY boxes from TRY FOODS. The idea is quite simple: founder Jörn Gutowski wants to make it easier to try good food and discover new things. Good food and great ingredients – as we all know – bring great joy, and discovering new things can be just as much fun. Why always reach for the same old, familiar product on the shelf when the variety is endless? Mr. Gutowski must have thought the same thing when he set out to find the right TRY FOODS products.
Important: Where do the products come from? How are they made, and who is actually behind the production? The aim is to develop a better understanding of their origin, development, and provenance, and to learn new things. The understanding of "What am I actually eating?" or even "Where exactly does the coffee in my cup come from?" should be strengthened.

What's in the TRY FOODS boxes?
As a seasoned foodie, this naturally piqued my interest. So I didn't hesitate and picked up three different varieties of the TRY FOODS boxes. Currently, there are... Shop Seven different TRY boxes are available. Each box contains five carefully selected varieties of either coffee, vinegar, salt, chocolate, olive oil, or pepper. The seventh box is the "Berlin" box, called "TRY BERLIN," which costs €27.90 and features five different Berlin-based products. Just like every other box, the Berlin box also includes a comprehensive booklet describing each product. Since you can only see this booklet once you've opened the box, you can also view the contents of each box in the store. Simply click on the box or the food item that interests you most, and you'll see exactly which varieties of chocolate, for example, are contained in each box.
The boxes – in my case, coffee, olive oil, and salt – combine information, tasting experiences, and product details in an engaging way. Since each TRY set focuses exclusively on one food item, you can choose exactly what interests you. The booklets about coffee, chocolate, salt, and so on are very informative and interesting. It's also fun to browse through them again after you've finished the food. They describe what (for example) salt is, where it comes from, and why the specific varieties included in the TRY set were chosen. Very informative and a great help in feeling a little closer to the product. At least, that's how it was for me.

I was particularly impressed by the five different salts I sampled. Comparing them directly made me realize just how incredibly vast the selection is and that you shouldn't always stick with your usual product. The boxes are a joy to unpack. Depending on your choice, the products come in small sachets or bottles. You should decide for yourself what interests you most. Just take a look around.
The boxes playfully introduce artisanal food products and provide an entry point into the world of premium goods. The contents were the result of extensive research, testing, and tasting. Experts were consulted, and the combinations of individual products were ultimately developed based on these findings.
