Now the end of the year is drawing ever closer, and while we're currently watching the golden leaves change color and then fall, the Westend Factory is already planning its Christmas and New Year's Eve program. I've taken a closer look at the fantastic options:
Christmas lunch buffet at the Westend Factory
For many, it's the most wonderful time of the year – the Christmas season. The Westend Factory has come up with something special for you. Together with your loved ones, you can visit the Westend Factory for a truly special Christmas lunch. The team will be serving a fine selection of regional Westend Factory dishes, including classic favorites and game, in the form of a generous lunch buffet. This gives you the chance to experience the Factory's culinary side in all its glory and enjoy a variety of delicious, sometimes festive, treats. The Christmas lunch package also includes one soft drink per person and a selection of Westend Factory wines.

If you're looking for the perfect venue for your Christmas party (between 10 and 50 people, or up to 120) and want to celebrate with more than just your loved ones, then your search is over. I've been a guest at the Factory several times myself and can attest that it's a great place to enjoy yourself and celebrate special occasions. For Christmas, for example, you can celebrate in a separate area (or even in the entire Westend Factory, depending on the size of your group) and let yourselves be pampered. If you're planning a party of this size, the restaurant team will gladly help with the planning, handle the organization for you, and even offer culinary suggestions. To get started, simply contact the team with your preferred date, and depending on availability, they'll create a customized plan just for you.

Celebrating New Year's Eve at the Westend Factory
Winding down the year is an essential part of the tradition. And even if you're not a big fan of New Year's resolutions, enjoying a delicious meal on the last day of the old year is surely something you'll appreciate. The Westend Factory has come up with something truly special for this occasion. On the evening of December 31, 2017, a fantastic five-course menu with wine pairings will be served. As a guest and taster of this menu, you'll also be experiencing a premiere, as it's the first time the Westend Factory has prepared a menu in this style, with perfectly coordinated courses. Before the menu is served at 7:00 pm, a delicious aperitif will be offered on the restaurant's terrace. Afterwards, a culinary extravaganza awaits you – perfectly in keeping with the spirit of New Year's Eve. To ensure the evening is still in keeping with the New Year's traditions, table fireworks, lead pouring, and a lovely New Year's treatment will all be part of the festivities.

As a personal suggestion, I'd like to mention that it's always a lovely gift idea to have a meal there with close family or friends in a relaxed atmosphere. You could give them a gift certificate and then – especially fitting for the Christmas season – share everything around the middle of the table. Gift certificates are also available, which you can put under the Christmas tree or send as a nicely packaged present. It's definitely worth eating there.
