A must-see for fans of the greatest hits and legends: The new GOP show "LEGENDS" || The brand-new show from the GOP Variety Theatre Munich is called "LEGENDS" and runs until May 4, 2025, at the Munich variety theatre on Maximilianstrasse. This entertaining stage program explores the unforgettable legends and icons of our time. "LEGENDS" pays wonderful tribute to the idols of our era, the ranks of the very best, and once again succeeds in combining them into an entertaining, breathtaking, and unforgettable show.

„LEGENDS“ – the new stage show at the GOP Variety Theatre Munich
Do you love great music and world-famous hits that make it hard to stay in your seats? Are you also thrilled by impressive acrobatics? – Then the show "LEGENDS" is a must-see. From the first minute to the last, you'll be entertained by fashion legends like Coco Chanel, universal geniuses like Charlie Chaplin, and music legends like Michael Jackson, Freddie Mercury, and Céline Dion, all presented through captivating choreography by talented artists. World-famous hits, dazzling costumes, breathtaking acrobatics, and witty show acts combine to create a true masterpiece on stage. Directed by the internationally acclaimed Circus Theater Bingo, (Previous GOP success shows: „Circus“, „undressed“, „Fashion“ and „move“) Expect pure entertainment. At the end, there were, quite rightly, standing ovations and smiling faces everywhere you looked.

Book with hall or restaurant menu
As with every show, you can choose how you want to enjoy the "LEGENDS" stage show at the GOP – with a two- or three-course menu in the theater hall, or with a menu of your choice in the restaurant. Theater-Restaurant „Leander“. The package options vary depending on the day of the week and time. The two-course menu is available for every performance; the three-course menu includes an additional appetizer. If you choose the theater menu, you'll be served the (appetizer and) main course before the show starts and dessert during the intermission. This is a convenient arrangement, as you can then chat with your companion about the first half of the show while enjoying dessert. The optional set menu in the "Leander" restaurant is always available before the show, and you'll then move to the theater before the performance begins. On our visits, we always combine the stage show with the delicious food at the GOP, as was the case with the "LEGENDS" stage show.
Changing show menus in two or three courses are served in the theater hall.
The menu – We opted for the three-course set menu, which began with a green pea soup accompanied by Iberian ham croquettes and wild mushroom oil. This was followed by Zurich-style sliced veal with porcini mushrooms, gnocchi, basil, and Parmesan cheese. The vegetarian main course was zucchini Thermidor with sauce vierge, gnocchi, basil, and Parmesan. During the intermission, a Toblerone parfait with apple and walnut crumble and cherry compote was served.
The Ticket prices The price is €55 per person. You then choose your desired menu option and pay an additional €23 or €29 per person for a two-course or three-course set menu, respectively. The three-course menu at the "Leander" restaurant costs €39 per person. Vegan/vegetarian options are also available. Regardless of your chosen option, there is always a Snack menu with finger food and small dishes in the theater hall. A separate menu with various (show) cocktails is always available at your table. For "LEGENDS," we opted for a "Cherry Neck" with whisky, cherry brandy, orange juice, and ginger ale, as well as a "Vodka Paradise" with vodka, mango syrup, passion fruit juice, and bitter lemon.

Conclusion, tickets and table
Every GOP show is different and full of surprises. That's one of the reasons why it's worth seeing them all. The new stage show "LEGENDS," for example, thrives on music, acrobatics, and a touch of comedy, while other (past) shows will leave you amazed, in awe, and laughing with different highlights on stage. Personally, I like it when there's a little bit of everything. With "LEGENDS," the entertainment value is further enhanced by the opportunity to sing along to well-known world hits. Between the musical acts, talented artists perform their routines, leaving you in awe. For instance, we laughed a lot at Eduardissimo, aka "Mr. Goodman," who performed little tricks, and were sometimes amazed by Tatiana Yudina's aerial loop act. One thing is for sure: there's never a dull moment.
I can therefore wholeheartedly recommend attending the show once again. Dress up in evening attire and look forward to a highly entertaining evening. You can easily get your tickets via... About the GOP Variety Theatre
Did you know? – There are seven GOP Variety Theatres in Germany. The one on Maximilianstrasse in Munich first opened its doors in 2008 and has since surprised audiences with an average of six diverse and entertaining stage shows per year. The theatre is divided into a spacious foyer, the main auditorium with its stage, the "Leander" restaurant, and a bar integrated into the foyer where drinks can be enjoyed before and after the shows.
