This means that from May 23rd to 27th, 2023, you can once again learn everything there is to know about bread and get to know Munich's artisan bakers and their breads.

All the bakeries present at the market are based in Munich and are members of the Munich, Landsberg, and Erding Bakers' Guild. This popular bread market offers you the unique opportunity to meet many bakers and their wide selection of fresh bread all in one place, and to easily sample a variety of baked goods.

Furthermore, the institute provides "bread testers" who evaluate breads based on quality, aroma, taste, and much more. The best breads receive awards and prizes from the institute. You can meet one of these bread testers. Get to know us on Friday, May 26, 2023, as part of the Munich Bread Market. Manfred Stiefel offers a tour of the bread market and examines one loaf of bread at each stall – interested visitors are welcome to watch.
