Café Voilá – Today we had breakfast at the well-known Café Voilá in Haidhausen. It was very tasty, we were served quickly, and the staff was friendly.

There is a very extensive menu – for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as cocktails, cakes, and much more. We have visited Café Voilá several times and have never been disappointed.

For breakfast, there are various omelets with shrimp, mushrooms, potatoes, onions, sheep's cheese, etc. Vegetarians are also catered for, with options for both breakfast and main courses. At Voilá, breakfast is served until 12:30 a.m. – ideal for early risers! 😉 The smoked salmon – one of the countless breakfast extras that can be ordered – was fresh and delicious.

A very extensive and varied lunch menu is also offered. From salmon fillet to pasta dishes or medium-rare beef fillet, the menu offers a good mix.

The bar is also very pleasant for cocktails in the evening, although it's relatively large and a bit noisy when full. They have very tasty cocktails, long drinks, etc. (The mango daiquiri is highly recommended!). The cakes displayed in the refrigerator are also worth trying; they taste fresh (e.g., the marble orange chocolate cake).

The food is simple, but still enjoyable. Breakfast and all the other meals we ate there were always fresh and attractively presented. Our food was also always served at the same time and hot. Unfortunately, that's not always the case in Munich's restaurants. There were a few times when we had to wait over 15 minutes for cocktails, but that was fine given the relaxed atmosphere.
