Since I often notice that dishes ordered by and for children in restaurants are unfortunately not always prepared with high-quality ingredients, I inquired directly at "Jux und Tollerei" about this. I can put your minds at ease! The Gämsle shopping list consists exclusively of high-quality ingredients and products, preferably regional and seasonal, and some are even organic.
For example, the chicken nuggets and burger patties are made with organic meat from the butcher, the fries are crispy and crunchy, and not too salty, and the pizzas and pinsa are prepared fresh to order. The pinsa dough at "Jux und Tollerei" rests for 72 hours, making it particularly light and fluffy. It's available topped with a wide variety of ingredients, including a vegetarian option. Organic meat is also used for the burgers; a vegetarian burger option with grilled vegetables and goat cheese is also offered.
The ice cream on a stick, also on a separate menu, is selected with special care. It comes from "Steccolecco"—a brand that works exclusively with natural ingredients, uses no additives, and produces vegan and gluten-free ice cream in a wide variety of flavors ("Strawberry," "Melon," "Pistachio," "Chocolate," "Mango and Passion Fruit," and "Yellow Peach" for children, and "Gianduiotto Nougat Hazelnut," "Pistachio," and "Caffè" for adults). In addition to donuts, muffins, and sheet cakes, there are also handmade Italian ice cream confections ("Dai Dai") in various flavors. I had the pleasure of experiencing the culinary delights firsthand at "Gämsle." I sampled a piece of their truly excellent currywurst (…the sauce!…Mmmmh!…); a slice of the burger made with 100% organic beef, tomato, cucumber, and onions; a piece of the pinsa with ham and mushrooms; and two of their incredibly tender nuggets – a far cry from the convenience products so often used. The burger was truly delicious and significantly better than at some of the other burger restaurants where I've eaten. My fluffy pinsa was so good that I had the rest packed up to take home, and the nuggets, as I'd hoped, tasted like fresh, juicy, and high-quality organic meat – available in boxes of 4, 8, or 16, by the way. To top it all off, I even got to try the ice cream, sampling both the fruit flavors for the kids and the pistachio ice cream for the adults. I love pistachio! Anyone who knows high-quality ice cream can immediately taste the difference when only natural ingredients are used instead of sugar and flavor enhancers – that's definitely the case with "Steccolecco" ice cream, and it's a great alternative when your little ones want something sweet. And of course: the various flavors are also available in children's sizes – this prevents waste and ensures your kids can finish their portions.
Overall, I really appreciate that "Jux und Tollerei" in Parsdorf is moving away from deep-frying and towards high-quality, fresh ingredients. Why shouldn't children enjoy the same high-quality, carefully selected food as we do, just because they're younger? In short: If I had children, I would definitely let them celebrate, play, and eat there with a clear conscience. It's worth it!

Children under one year old enter the "Fun and Games" indoor playground free of charge. Children under three years old pay only €8, children three and older pay €12, and adults pay €8. Children with disabilities are also welcome (€8 admission including one free accompanying person). Those who choose to spend the day at "Fun and Games" have access to the entire hall for that day.
Children's and adult socks can be purchased on site. Entry is permitted only with socks and not with street shoes, and only with children. Children may not enter the indoor playground without adult supervision. A separate changing area is available, and plenty of lockers are provided for personal belongings and shoes.
