HOTEL SCHLOSS LEBENBERG – A handful of posts isn't enough anymore, I've written about my favorite spot in Kitzbühel so often. Now that we can all breathe a little easier and travel again, I don't want to miss the opportunity to encourage you once more to visit Austria and unwind. My number one hotspot for this: Hotel Schloss Lebenberg in Kitzbühel.

What makes Hotel Schloss Lebenberg special

A total of 25 hotels belong to "Austria Trend," and Hotel Schloss Lebenberg is one of them, boasting an unparalleled view over Kitzbühel. From the sunny terrace, you have a direct view of the Hahnenkamm, a mountain famous far beyond Austria's borders; the nearly 50-meter-long panoramic pool invites you to relax and swim laps, and a glance at the menu always makes my mouth water. The 150 stylish yet comfortable rooms (in seven different categories) tell a long and historic story – for example, the hotel's castle tower dates back to 1448. Surrounded by the Kitzbühel mountain scenery, the hotel exudes a thoroughly cozy atmosphere.

Hotel Schloss Lebenberg impresses me completely every time I visit. I especially enjoy coming during an event. From live music acts (for example, „Maria and Mario“ or also „Jazzin' the Lebenberg„From dinner evenings to other event highlights, including seasonal ones, there's always something going on at Lebenberg. And even during quieter times at the hotel, it's never boring. Relax in the wellness and sauna area, enjoy a drink in the spacious lobby with its bar and extensive cocktail menu, work out in the fitness studio, take a stroll through Kitzbühel, or do some shopping in the small hotel store.

As part of the festival, Kitzbühel will once again become a stage for filmmakers from all over the world, and national and international talents will have the opportunity to present their films to a large audience. A must-do during a stay in Kitzbühel is a visit to the many wonderful alpine pastures and huts in the mountains, along the countless hiking trails. The famous "„Seidlalm Kitzbühel„"The Seidlalm, situated at an altitude of 1,206 meters, has achieved worldwide fame due to various factors. Kitzbühel native Hansi Hinterseer grew up there, and the Ski World Cup was also invented there. The Seidlalm is located directly on what is arguably the most famous downhill run in the world. If you visit the alpine pasture and enjoy the stunning view amidst the beautiful Kitzbühel scenery, be sure to try the "Moosbeerschmarrn" (for €14.50) from the menu. It's legendary.".

Let me highly recommend a visit to Hotel Schloss Lebenberg. The drive from Munich is quick and easy, and you can truly relax and enjoy yourself. While you're there, be sure to dine at the gourmet restaurant "Das Lambergs," run by the hotel's head chef, Marcel Dornheim. He serves his own specially created menus as well as high-quality, regional Tyrolean à la carte dishes. I'm already so excited for my next stay because it's just so wonderful there. The amazing rooms, the fantastic pool, the friendly people, and the delicious food.
